What. A. Ride. One of our biggest productions ever is officially wrapped and what a journey it has been.

For the past nine months, we’ve lived and breathed this project. Directing every creative detail from the first brainstorm to the final cue.

From creative input and guidance of the stage design, the thematic development through characters, storyline and visual world-building, and concept creation including the role of the Ringmaster, to performer selection and styling, SFX and pyro plot and programming, laser design and show control, audio creation for all intros and major shows, storyboards and art direction for all visuals, and timecode scripting across all disciplines; all culminating in the live show direction on location.

Seeing over 65,000 people experience it live (and hundreds of thousands more online) made every long night worth it.

A massive thank you to @eventshsu for trusting us once again and to everyone behind the scenes who gave their all to make this vision a reality.

The @sony.benelux FE 28-70mm f/2.0 GM is able to replace many of my primes but with the added versatility of zooming whenever I need to. If I’m working in low light, I need all the light I can get. Low aperture zooms allow me to keep my bag light, my back happy and still get the shots!

The second edition of Lakedance’s 20-year celebration was nothing short of legendary! With a packed Mainstage, endless sunshine, and temperatures soaring, the vibes were absolutely unmatched.

Again we brought two special shows to life, filled with the most iconic tracks from the past two decades, celebrating everything that makes Lakedance magical ✨

Tegendraads Festival

Steel, mirrors, smoke and fire! This was my 4th show of July and it hit hard.

I’ve Been part of Tegendraads since day one, and seeing it grow every year is something special.

For this one, I was responsible for lighting design, programming, operated the main stage, and i’ve also created the show design for the closing . Super proud of how it came together.

Een 360° stage pal in het hart van de Johan Cruijff ArenA, een Guinness World Record verpulverd met 1.100 lasers, en 40.000 ravers die compleet losgingen op b2b-sets van de grootste namen in de hardtechno-scene. Een avond vol energie tijdens @verkniptevents in de ArenA, met als absoluut hoogtepunt de indrukwekkende experience show: tien minuten lang alles uit de kast met licht, geluid en special effects.

Wij mochten bijdragen met onze pyrotechniek — krachtige sequences van airbursts, jets en ultrafast comets die het publiek letterlijk lieten juichen. Een show om niet snel te vergeten.

Verknipt Arena 2025

Poh, this was definitely one for the books. category Lekker Setje wel!

For the Verknipt Arena Show 2025, I was responsible for the lighting design and light programming of the Verknipt Experience show.

There were plenty of long programming nights, but as you can see in the photos it all worked out pretty well. Super proud on this one!

Big thanks to @bas.vangelder for assisting with the programming and co-operating the show live on site and ofcourse Thanks to the rest of team who all were involved in this project!
