Nous remercions chaleureusement @heleneaguilar_ @mcbultheel et @armellelalo pour leur engagement en faveur d’un design soutenable dans lequel la lave émaillée à toute sa place.

Une scénographie inoubliable portée par @adrastudio.fr et @mapurnia_studio qui ont su mettre la lumière sur de nombreux savoir-faire et approches pluridisciplinaires inspirantes pour les projets à venir de designers et architectes soucieux du monde de demain. Nous comptons tous sur eux.

🌿 Merci

Après deux semaines, BÂTIR VIVANT, la biennale portée par l’Institut pour un Design Soutenable a fermé ses portes.

Le bilan dépasse nos attentes : rencontres stratégiques, échanges inspirants, projets de collaboration, regards qui se transforment, idées qui essaiment.

Merci à toutes celles et ceux qui ont pris le temps de découvrir l’idéal que nous portons : un design soutenable, vivant, désirable. Et qui ont choisi d’en être acteurs.

Nous avons le sentiment qu’il s’est passé quelque chose de puissant ici. Du concret. Du lien. De l’impact.
Nous repartons avec une conviction : bâtir autrement et ensemble est possible.

Yesterday we opened the Biennale Bâtir Vivant, we cofounded with @ouestlebeau 🤍

The world is burning.
So why talk about beauty, art, and sustainable design?
When chaos takes over, we want to shrink everything down to survival. To function. To technique.
But because everything is falling apart, we have a chance to rebirth on different ground.
Healthier ground.

Art is vital : it gets us used to what isn’t here yet.
It teaches us to see. To feel. To desire differently.

Nothing changes without attention. Attention helps us see what matters and what deserves to be held gently.

What makes a future worth wanting, if not emotion first? Wonder. Joy. The feeling of belonging to something bigger than ourselves.
We only fight long enough for what we truly love.

Building sustainably means accepting that function isn’t everything. Sometimes the curve that seems useless is the one that opens the most hearts.

Thank you for coming, despite the noise of the world (and the rain!!) 🙏

Where imagination meets matter.

This is how dreams take shape. Through the hands of artists and craftspeople, ideas are sculptes into space, and spaces become stories. Each texture, light and form is a whisper from the dreamworld now made real.

Throw back at the exhibition at @materialmatters.design during the @l_d_f_official where i could share a sample of the material i developped during my graduation and the rock table, part of my graduation scenography giving a new meaning to "trash" ✨

Our first edition at the @l_d_festival was a dynamic blend of conversations, talks, workshops, and fun DJ set.

We never forget that anything of this wasn't possible without our community of designers and design studios, who are the core of everything we do. This traveling exhibition, Nothing Happens if Nothing Happens, was built around a community of professionals who truly believe in a future where design is essential to foster a virtuous circle towards and beyond sustainability.

We want to thank all the people who worked hard with Isola’s team to realize this event.

A special thanks goes to @the_good_plastic_company and @re_mat as sponsors of the entire event, and @iammi_iammi for projecting and creating the amazing setup that will be reused for the following exhibitions.
