Still amazed on how incredible it was to get in front of 150-200 high schoolers at the Leadership Summit!

Dr. Benn and Dr. Martinez Smith, thank you for trusting me with this opportunity. Mentoring these students on everything from goal setting to life in the Texan Corps of Cadets was an incredible experience. While we leaned into the military side of things, our main message was clear: the mindset and goals you establish today for both the present and the future dictate exactly who you are and who you will become.

As someone still navigating my own journey and choices, the ability to influence the next generation of leaders never ceases to surprise me. It was powerful to connect personally with students from all different backgrounds, discussing everything from different military service options to sharing personal experiences of overcoming obstacles. Having the platform to help change perspectives is something I am forever proud and honored to do.

I also have to give a massive shoutout to Marah Guillot my fellow cadet. This presentation wouldn't have been nearly as impactful without her. She brought her own unique experiences to the table and played such a huge role in making sure our message actually landed with those kids. Her insight and the way she connected with the students was a game-changer-having her up there with me made the whole experience 10x better.

2025 has brought more change to my life than ever before. Between graduating high school, leaving home to start college, and enlisting, it’s been a whirlwind. I’ve lost friends, made new ones, and faced more 'firsts' than I can count. I feel so blessed to have had a year like this full of opportunities and hard lessons learned.

This year, I really tried to focus on myself and grow as much as possible, even while still slowly recovering from the weight of the year before. I’m grateful to say that while I may never fully understand the 'why' behind the past or the lessons it tried to teach me, I’m thankful for the people who stayed in my corner. They pushed me the most when I felt the most alone in this world.

Being a part of communities like JROTC and now The Texan Corps of Cadets has really shown me who I want to be and where I’m headed. I’ve had to change a lot of my future plans this year, but I’ve learned to stay open to that change. Lastly, Project-25 is officially coming to an end. My last YouTube video will be up sometime this week, reflecting on this year and what’s next for my journey of self-growth.

One month into college and I'm loving it. West Point in New York was incredible. Made some amazing friends and memories. Would've never believed I'd enjoy this school so much. Majorly misjudged it. Anyway, New York was awesome. Go Tarleton, we took down Army 😝.

New YouTube video coming up this Wednesday
