5 months since ‘Eighty-nine’🩻🪑

So much love and hard work was put into this one. We made worm dioramas, animal noises and had a show at a dang art gallery! Gah!

My heart is still full almost 6 months later.
I love you guys and can’t wait to give you so much more💛

Till next time,
Which one’s your favorite off the EP?🫶🏽

After three great years, The Charleston Sound is coming to an end. We are forever grateful for every show.. every artist, every vendor, every single person who came and supported. Us girls who started this project are moving on to the next chapters of our lives, but we will never forget the incredibly awesome experience of putting these shows together for the community!

Some of the best memories and friendships were made because of this project. We led artists Lilly Hartle and Maralin Russell to the stage where they eventually met the rest of their band. We met Jordan Garza who does our sound and lights and is a crucial part of transforming a yard into a stage. The first few shows we would aim a projector from our roof and I would run sound through my RC505 loop station. Dark times but we rose. We hosted our favorite local bands, and even met some from Savannah, Columbia and Myrtle Beach that were willing to come all the way here just to perform at our house. Speaking of which, we also put on a Shakespearean play.. sorry to everyone that missed that masterpiece. Another lore drop- I performed a set of songs I wrote about my ex just because he lived above us at the time. Shoutout Gardenoise. Another person I want to shout out is all our graphic designers who make the show posters! Could never acquire that skill myself. We got to sell cheeseburgers with Community Stoop, sell plushies, zines and vintage clothes from other local vendors as well. We even sold popsicles at one point so shoutout if you remember pre CHS Sound era. I also want to thank all my roommates who not only let me host hundreds of people in our yard but came down and helped work the door. Those are my dearest friends. What a privilege this all has been honestly. I cannot thank everyone enough.

So let's go hard for the last one in two weeks!!!! JULY 11!!! DM FOR ADDRESS. THATS A WRAP!!!🧡🏡

Thank you,
Aubrie
