SEPTEMBUH! *in my Earth, Wind, & Fire voice* — a month of unplugging, being present, exploring, and reminding myself I have so much to be grateful for :)

Grateful I chose to push myself 2 years ago, to try something I was interested in and still very much enjoy! There’s something so special about people showing up to support me, while also letting loose themselves and living in the moment. Hoping you all will join me another time, to celebrate this milestone, and yourselves! This Saturday, October 3rd, at Rent Free Haus, 10p-2a. See y’all there! 😎

LINEUP:
Detroit made her, but @iamrimarkable belongs to every floor that has ever felt the difference between a DJ and a calling. An Afro-Puerto Rican DJ, producer, vocalist, and cultural curator, her sound moves through gospel, funk, soul, and techno like a current that never breaks. Over more than two decades, she has held stages with Louie Vega, Madonna, Honey Dijon, and George Clinton, hosted the Defected Radio Show, taught her signature "Alchemy of the DJ" curriculum as Adjunct Professor at NYU's Clive Davis Institute, and leads Betty Jean's Dream, her independent label rooted in the spirit of the woman who first showed her what music could do. Her work is not just music. It is ritual, community, and sonic justice.

Growing up with parents who were avid house heads, @marandapanda773 was introduced to the sounds of house music from an early age. Deepening her love for the genre on Detroit’s legendary dance floors, she brings a sound that reaches across generations. From deep house and tech house to old-school blends, Panda creates (and is) an infectious vibe.

One half of the duo JUNYXX, @mari_esq_ . came to DJing with a desire to create playful and sensual spaces that invite people out of their heads and into their bodies. She is inspired by connection, movement, and the healing power of getting down on the dancefloor.

@_djnola_ cut his teeth playing records in underground scenes of Brooklyn and Montreal 20 years ago. A consummate digger known for playing marathon sets, his sound can best be described as a methodically unpredictable trip into funk. An import to Detroit for 8 years, Nola, curated Ain't No Disco at the Whiskey Disco and TV Lounge.

In 2018 @ginoisland 's party and label Snack Time was born at this special place and has since become a fixture of the Detroit and Chicago music scenes. His growing production catalog includes releases on Get Physical, Soul Clap, Infolines, Rocksteady Disco, Brooklyn Sway, Tied, and Choose Better Friends.

Happiness isn’t something we celebrate just one day a year… it’s something we get to create every single day. 💫

For International Day of Happiness, our team shared the little (and big) things that light them up inside these walls. From early morning workouts to post-class high fives, it’s the people, the energy, and the moments in between that make this place feel like more than a gym.

Now it’s your turn…

What brings YOU joy when you walk into Life Time?

Is it your favorite class, your workout crew, a quiet moment in recovery, or just showing up for yourself on a hard day?

Drop it below 👇 let’s build a ripple effect of happiness our whole community can feel.

Strong women build strong communities. And inside Life Time at Commerce, we get to witness that magic every single day. ✨

Today, on International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the women who walk through our doors and make this club what it is.

The women lifting heavier than they ever thought possible.
The ones squeezing in a workout between meetings, school drop-offs, and a million other responsibilities.
The friends who turn group fitness classes into standing dates.
The moms showing their daughters what strength, confidence, and self-care look like in real life.

You don’t just come here to work out.
You show up to grow stronger, to clear your mind, to build community, and to remind yourselves that your health matters too.

And that ripple effect? It reaches families, friendships, and entire communities.

To every woman who chooses herself for one hour in the middle of a busy life…thank you for making this club stronger in every sense of the word. 💪

Happy International Women’s Day. We’re grateful to be part of your healthy way of life.

Tag a woman who inspires you at the club and let’s celebrate her today. 💐
