From motivational must-reads to memoirs that’ll move you, this list will keep your mind racing while you do (or while your legs recover!).

I ran a marathon!!

Turns out you actually can do anything you set your mind to!! The most massive, humungous, gigantic THANK YOUUUU to every single person who donated & reached out with the most loving and kind words of encouragement before and after this race. A special thank you to my coach (@marathonwhisperer I would never have crossed the finish line without her awesome training plan), my wonderful family (especially my parents who also ran around Chicago to find me a finisher jacket), and the most amazing pit crew (for the cheers, signs, and biofreeze sprays)!! I told my friends Emma, Sydney, Sam and Christine at the turn of the year that I wanted to run a marathon in 2024. They immediately responded with, “And we will all fly out to cheer you on,” and they did just that🥹🫶🏻 Unfortunately, after saying multiple times during my training that I will “never EVER do this again,” this race was a ridiculous amount of fun — I finished strong and never hit the wall! For now I will be enjoying the absurd amount of new found free time and perhaps leaving the possibility of another marathon in the hands of the lottery gods…
