@thebaratwave @waveresort in @piervillagelongbranch brings a stylish yet welcoming retreat for both Jersey Shore locals and visitors looking to unwind. Italian natural stone panels from @marbleburo create contrast, blending the warmth of sunlit tones with the refreshing coolness of the ocean.

Adding depth and character, sculptural sconces cast a soft glow, while a vibrant turquoise backsplash from @TileBar pays homage to the coastal surroundings. Overhead, a wave-like ceiling design extends from the bar, serving as a wayfinding element that naturally guides guests through the space and draws their eyes along its curves.

I’m never getting over terrazzo—it’s just too cool. The rich colors, the organic shapes, the way it instantly transforms a space with bold personality and depth! And when it comes to terrazzo flooring, @marbleburo is one of my absolute favorites—they take craftsmanship and design to another level.
Truly a forever favorite! 😍 #TerrazzoLove #BoldAndBeautiful #RichTextures #FlooringGoals #ModernDesign #TimelessStyle

#stoned and #layered with #texture in our studio powder. the sink was a custom design, fabricated by @marbleburo, who provided the textural travertine wall cladding. I am a huge fan of sandblasted marble for bathrooms and kitchens… especially due to the fact that it is supremely durable. @optimummarblegraniteinc did a stupendous job installing this space—floors, walls, and stone casings. The fittings are by @compasstone, in an antique, burnished copper finish that I think is #thenextbigthing. I love the addition of #vertigris to the palette, by @tomfaulknerfurniture. I love the patina and originality of this material combination for so many reasons. @compasstone matched the copper finish by @collierwebb, who never disappoints with the picture rail and ceiling fixture. I hope you enjoy seeing it too. 📸 @douglasfriedman & styling by @jennyoconnorstudio Xx 🖼️ @galeriaomr

It’s tough to make time for the best part of a project - scheming!

It always takes longer than you think, mostly because time ceases to exist once you’re in the flow, so I’ll schedule entire (or at least half) days to it. The problem being I feel guilty from enjoying it so much 🌝

New Jersey dinette in one of our Jersey homes, custom terrazzo floors, plaster walls, classic Ray chairs and a wrought iron partition from the kitchen ✔️🖤. The whole home has paper lighting which adds texture and simplicity to balance out the high ceilings and grandeur.
