☀️ SUMMER IS HERE! ☀️

And if you’re looking for kid-friendly places to take your littles this summer, I’ve got your first suggestion!

Just under two hours away in Raleigh, you’ll find one of our family’s favorite day trips: @marblesraleigh

This place is packed with hands-on exhibits, imaginative play spaces, and enough activities to keep kids entertained for hours. Guess what?! Adults have just as much fun as the kids.

You can easily spend an entire day here! They have a café for coffee and snacks, plenty of nearby dining options, and even the amazing Marbles IMAX theater right inside the museum. It's downtown and very walkable to other neighboring places that are wonderful.

If you’re looking for a fun family adventure without getting on a plane or spending all day in the car, add Marbles to your summer bucket list.

Trust me—it’s worth the drive.

And when you go, be sure to tell them @topsailtalk sent you! ❤️

Happy International LEGO Day! 🏙️ 🧱

We’re marking this annual celebration by highlighting two downtown shops that make it easy to bring home play and creativity: @marblesplaystore and downtown’s very own @lego retailer @bamdowntownraleigh.

Swing by this week and pick out a project to enjoy indoors if the winter weather keeps you home this Saturday!

I picked this up at @marblesplaystore recently after admiring the adorable illustrations…the story is so sweet too and what a valuable story to tell our kids. The time we spend together is the memory we’re making & as moms we need to remember this more often especially when there’s hiccups in the plans. But I’m going off on a tangent. This is a sweet rhyming story of a girl baking a pie with her father. I do love a #localauthor moment too #bookworm #bookwormsoffuquayvarina #bookstagram #raleigh

Hey Spot On Gamers, one of the best rules in That’s Spot On! is declaring “Spot On” and the best thing about it is that it doesn’t even have to be your turn to do it!! What???? You heard me! You can declare “Spot On” out of turn! It’s so much fun! And if you’re correct, you get your lost dice back!! Woohoo!! #thatsspoton #spoton #boardgames #gamenight #fun
