“Nine Little Indians” is a new film by Shannon Kring with its world premiere last night in NYC. She is starting a significant conversation about innocent children who were harmed (and worse) decades ago in overnight residential schools on Native American reservations. My career has led me to this moment as an executive producer alongside Tony Robbins and Leonardo DiCaprio. This first screening is planting a seed for deep healing and reconciliation. 🩷 @tonyrobbins @leonardodicaprio @shannonkring @marc.gerke @redqueenmedia @terramater #redqueenmedia #appianway #terramaterstudios #shannonkring #ninelittleindians

Can you imagine someone coming to your home to steal your children?

For generations of Native American families, this wasn’t a nightmare. It was U.S. government policy.

From the late 1800s through the 1970s, Indigenous children were forcibly removed from their homes and sent to boarding schools designed to erase their identities, languages, and cultures. Thousands of children never returned home. Their stories were silenced for too long.

That silence ends now.

I am deeply honored to serve as an Executive Producer on Nine Little Indians, a groundbreaking documentary directed by Shannon Kring. Alongside fellow Executive Producers Leonardo DiCaprio and Tony Robbins, we are committed to exposing the truth about the American Indian boarding school system and amplifying the voices of survivors.

This film is a reckoning with our past. It is a call for truth, justice, and healing.

Nine Little Indians tells the story of the Charbonneau sisters' decades-long fight for justice and healing after enduring systemic abuse at St. Paul’s Indian Mission School in South Dakota. The film documents their nearly 20-year legal battle and the search for unmarked graves of missing children, serving as a powerful testament to survivor resilience.

The world premiere will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Walter Reade Theater at Film at Lincoln Center in New York City, followed by a special panel discussion. See the link in @shannonkring 's bio.

I’m honored to share that I am an Executive Producer on the upcoming documentary Nine Little Indians, premiering this May.

This film tells the powerful and deeply important story of the Charbonneau sisters and their decades-long fight for acknowledgement, justice, and healing after the abuses they endured within the American Indian boarding school system.

Directed by Shannon Kring and supported by an extraordinary team of producers and executive producers, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tony Robbins, and many others alike committed to bringing this story forward, this project stands as both a reckoning and a call to awareness.

This is not an easy history to witness.

It is, however, a necessary one.

Stories like this matter because they ensure that truth is not erased, that voices are not silenced, and that we collectively hold responsibility for a future where such atrocities are never repeated.

I’m deeply grateful to be part of a film that honors resilience, truth-telling, and the long path toward healing.
