Well. Here we go.

I had the honor to direct and write one of the stupidest shows I have seen. Back in December @madison_avenue666 and I began writing this show. We watching high school musical about 25 times to figure out how to make this movie into a fierce drag stage show. What a privilege it has been to watch your mind work. I am so grateful to have made this with you.

Then we got @_meadowlarklane on board to help make our fantasy into reality. She did such a beautiful job interpreting Madison and my crazy ideas and turning them in to such fierce choreography. It was such a beautiful experience getting to work with my frozen sister on this project. And I cannot wait to work on an another show. Love you so so so much sister.

Non of this would be possible with out @briankitta he really kept us grounded into what is actually possible. Aannnnd he had to deal with Madison and I for months hahaha. Not to mention the artistry of @misskayottic set design. They are the best set designer/builder I have ever worked with. So so so greatful to have had you on board.

The rest of our production team ate the fuck out of this show. @muh_reee_uhh costumed the hell out of this show. Every single outfit was hand stoned to perfection. @itscalyko made sure everyone’s face was stamped. They did a phenomenal job making every character stand out and have a unique vibe while still fitting into the overall concept of the show. @orianaperon delivered beautiful handcrafted wigs that pulled it all together. @willow_arenz made the stage glow with impeccable lighting. @masonv101 pulled us all together and made sure we stayed on task and that everyone had everything that needed to be successful. And of course. Our cunty janitor @triceratits_ luv you bitch.

My Wildcats. I mean. Come on. This cast was so professional and enthusiastic through out this whole show. I am so proud of each and every one of our cast. They brought this stupid show to life. So many jokes came from these incredible artists. I am so grateful to have worked with every single one of you. I will always hold this show in my heart and each and every one of you with it. ❤️🤍

People ask me why I do shows at IDT. It’s because I have an outlet to hang out with whimsical weirdos and make rewarding shows in the process. This company has heart where a lot of others lack. So, imma choose them every time.

I could not have asked for a better final musical drag parody here in Indy. Thank you @madison_avenue666 @natalie_port_maam and @_meadowlarklane for gifting us this show. I never got tired of listening to the expertly crafted track, quoting each song and meme, and dancing (especially on a lunch). They worked tirelessly to make sure this show was as safe, funny, joyful, clean, and clever as could be. 💃🏼

I could make a long long post about how well it all went, but I will just say that everyone was perfect in their role and because of that silliness abounded. It was a joy to watch pros and newbies alike find moments to showcase their talents and grow new ones - every single person made me laugh at some point during this production.

I came to @theindydragtheatre as a teacher and I’m leaving as a student. May IDT continue to exist and evolve as a beacon for developing drag talent in a fun and productive way 🫶🏻

This has been the best crew experience ever, and I wouldn’t change a thing (except maybe start going to rehearsals earlier just to hang out w yall more)

There is truly no group of night schoolers that this cunty janitor (can I say janitor?) would rather clean up after. You all put 110% of your guts into this performance and I am so honored to have the best seat in the house to watch it all- on and off the stage.

I don’t even know where to begin. 😭💕

Words could never explain my love for @theindydragtheatre and the community we’ve built together. Five years ago, if you told me the things we’d be doing today, I would’ve laughed in your face and told you to empty your wallet. 💀

The magic that happens when this group of people comes together to create something is unreal. To this entire cast & crew: I’m eternally grateful I got to create this ridiculous, beautiful little world with you. I’ll carry pieces of this experience with me forever. 💕

@madison_avenue666 @natalie_port_maam @_meadowlarklane I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for building the perfect world for us to play in and giving us space to thrive, take risks, and grow. And thank you for trusting me with this role. It truly meant the world to me. 💕

To my twin, @a_tad.strange_ I’m so grateful we got to do this together. Watching you grow into such an incredible artist taught me so much about myself too. You’ll forever be my favorite little TWIN(k). Love youuu! 💕

Thank you for teaching me new things, but more importantly, helping me relearn all the things I love about myself. You reminded me how much I love performing, being loud, ridiculous, glamorous and dramatic, making people laugh, and giving everything I have onstage.

🎭Night School: A Drag Parody Musical - Ryan Evans (Tad Strange)🕺

This might be a tad much and a little dramatic, but I guess that fits the character?

Oh my god. I couldn't have asked for better directors, cast, and crew mates🥹. What really made the production for me was the people involved! Working with friends, new and old, and just having the best time ever, despite the blood, sweat, tears, and bouts of panic and exhaustion 😅 But hey, that's showbiz!

Truly, what an honor it was to portray this iconic character, and for Natalie, Madison, and Meadow to trust me with this role. It might actually be a dream come true? The thought that ran through my head the most was, I'm having so much fun, I'm playing Ryan with so much love and care, and I hope other people could see that too.💗
If you saw me smiling like crazy on stage, I wasn't acting 😂

I also couldn't have asked for a better scheming twin sister than April Rosé! Having the opportunity to work *this* one-on-one with her was such a privilege, and I truly had a blast being a silly and dramatic duo together 💕💗 Love you, twin :3 👫

Seriously, thank you everyone who helped and supported me in this process, from learning the audition dances, practicing acting and lip syncing, and assisting with slightly excessive costume changes! (love you Lolly and Gayle <3)

I can’t thank everyone at Indy Drag Theatre enough for the opportunity to pursue a dream on stage. It was an amazing experience from the first rehearsal to the last show.
