“I’ve been ghosting you because I’m working.” 😂 No, but for real though.

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. Festival season and Hispanic Heritage Month always keep me busy, booked, and super incomunicada.

If I’ve been quiet in your inbox, it’s because I’ve been loud everywhere else. 😝🎤🔥

Another incredible year at the Del Mar Wine + Food Festival! ✨🍷🌴

So much incredible food, beautiful energy, and a community that makes this weekend more special every year. My heart is full, my feet are tired, and I’m already counting down to next year. 💚

Apparently, I came to @delmarfest to cook… and somehow ended up eating, laughing, drinking champagne, and making memories too.

What a weekend! Loved getting into the kitchen with @tim_crittenden and the incredible @vagarestaurant team at @alilamareabeachresort The food was 🔥, the energy was even better, and those classy deli-container champagne cheers? Iconic. 😂 @dominic.giordano thank you for the amazing hospitality!!

Then @marceekatz scooped me up for an epic lunch with some of the FUNNEST people.

Huge thank you to @heytroyjohnson @claireelizajo and the entire team for creating a weekend full of incredible food, even better people, and the kind of memories that leave you already planning your return.

Del Mar, you had me at champagne… and kept me with the food. ❤️🥂

Friends, sunsets, coconut drinks & a community that shows up. 🌅🥥✨

Opening Night of @delmarfest was such a beautiful way to kick off another incredible Del Mar Wine + Food Festival.

What I love most about this festival is that it’s about so much more than amazing food and wine. It brings together chefs, restaurants, farmers, makers, friends and food lovers to celebrate the incredible culinary culture of San Diego and Southern California — while giving back to our community.

Since its launch, the festival has raised more than $100,000 for Feeding San Diego, helping support their work rescuing perfectly good food and getting it into the hands of San Diegans facing hunger. That’s something worth raising a glass to. 🥂💚

And we’re just getting started!

Come join us this Saturday & Sunday, October 3–4, for the Grand Tasting at Surf Sports Park — 100+ chefs and restaurants, incredible wines and spirits, live music, and some of the best food our region has to offer. And yes… Plant Paradise is back! 🌱

Come hungry. Come celebrate San Diego. And come be part of something that gives back. ❤️

See you this weekend!

Thank you @camilabadarophoto for these incredible photos. Friends, sunsets, coconut drinks & a community that shows up. 🌅🥥✨

Your menu called. It’s been wearing the same outfit since 2014. 👔

Oct 7. Portland Expo Center. I’m performing menu CPR, live.

The PFG Food Show is a BUYING show: grab it on the floor, save on it for six weeks. That’s not a sample. That’s a strategy.

100+ booths of new product. Me cooking, talking shop, and taking your toughest questions. Then my talk, “Update Your Outdated Menu,” where tired dishes go to retire.

Taco shops, pizza slingers, bar and grill lifers: pull up. PFG customer or total stranger, you’re family on the 7th.

Confess 👇 What’s the oldest dish still on your menu?

See you in Portland. Bring your menu. Leave it better.

Thank you for joining us for our very first Golden Creek Wagyu Tasting.

What started as an idea became an afternoon we won’t soon forget. Good food, incredible wine, new friendships, old friends, and more than 100 of you gathered here at ROCA to experience the beef we’ve spent years raising with intention.

A special thank you to Chef Vinnie Schofield and Chef Claudia Sandoval for bringing our Wagyu to life in their own way, to Jack Ford for his incredible support in helping us make this first tasting everything we hoped it could be, and to Lost Ranch Winery for welcoming everyone with a beautiful pour.

Most of all, thank you to every person who made the drive, pulled up a chair, shared a plate, asked questions, met our animals, and spent the afternoon with us.

This was our first Wagyu Tasting, but it certainly won’t be our last.

From our family to yours, thank you for being part of the Golden Creek story.

Where the land brings us together.

We believe people are meant to gather.

Around tables. Around food. Around stories. Around the land that feeds us.

Knowing where our food comes from connects us to the ingredients on our table, the people who raise them, and the land responsible for feeding us.

At a time when conversations around food, agriculture and beef are more complicated than ever, we choose connection. To our land. To the animals in our care. To the people behind our food. And to each other.

Gathering keeps those stories alive and reminds us that food has always been about more than what is on the plate.

Where the land brings us together.
