European silver and my first senior medal!! 🥺😍🥈
I can’t describe how much this one means to me..

After struggling with my confidence following major races, I felt ready yesterday. I knew I was in my best shape yet. But after not finishing my only race of the season, I needed to prove myself. I was well-prepared, fueled by the encouragements of @tony2laps , friends, family, teammates and my coach @gretekoens . 🦁🧡🇳🇱

I wanted this so badly. 🙏
Thank you for all the sweet messages!! 🧡

This one also goes out to @maureenkoster , we’re in this together and I couldn’t have done it without you. 🦧 Now we’re off to prepare for the next chapter. 🏔️

2023 World Athletics Coaching Achievement Award…
What an honor to receive this global recognition!
Since 32 (!) years I am dedicating myself for this passion.
From starting coaching at the club in 1992 to guiding some of the best athletes in the World to Olympic, World and European medals, it has been a long adventure.
It would be impossible to thank everyone who helped me and supported me on this path but of course it’s not a one man show.
Thanks to Ad Roskam and Charles van Commenee I get the chance to work in Netherlands since 5 years. Our project to close the gap with the world best countries on 400m/400m hurdles and 4x400m is a success with 22 international medals so far!
Before this, I had the great opportunity thanks to Peter Haas to work with amazing athletes in Switzerland. Three European titles, one Olympic final and many World finals were the foundation of the international success.
I want to thank all the athletes I had and still have the honor to work with. Many thanks also to my former and present colleagues for challenging, supporting and advising me… Thanks to all the experts who are helping me on this quest for excellence.
And last but not least, I want to thank my family and loved ones for their understanding, their support and all the love!

2024 is another very important season with many major championships and a lot of challenges. I am ready for it!

I am also excited to keep on sharing knowledge with colleagues around the world and to keep on inspiring young coaches to work with passion and excellence in athletics!

🔥 Fueling and recovery aren’t a guessing game. They’re a numbers game.

🎬 Take a tour of the TBV food truck and see how head chef @alen.r13 and nutritionist @dietista_moschetti keep the boys fueled and ready for the biggest stages of @lavuelta

4️⃣9️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ WIR!!! This happened a week ago now and i am still processing it!

Not that I thought this World record was out of reach because i started to believe in it in January, but you still need to make the perfect race. We are always focusing on the process and not on the outcome.
Fastest woman ever on 400m indoor (and as fast as @allysonfelix was ever outdoor 😍 🐐! Let’s enjoy it for a while!

Behind Femke, fantastic race from Lieke in 50.34 putting her in the World Top15 all-time!

And the men were crazy fast too: Isayah Boers with 45.72 PB, Liemarvin Bonevacia with another sub46 AND Isaya Klein Ikkink clocking 46.28 PB after only 4 months training for 400m…

Let @euroindoor2023 come! We are ready!
