I have had this footage saved in my drafts for several months now… I thought it would be a good time to share this project! :) I had the pleasure of working on this project for @marcellanancyviola , thank you again for trusting me with this process and allowing me to share the finish result back with you at home! 🫂🩵 I have recreated and restored many projects, but this was something I hadn’t done before, and not yet for a customer! I have made countless caps from several eras, but it was interesting to work with this particular pattern, to take it apart and put it back together. It was a new challenge, but it was an experience that sharpened my skills and helped me develop new ideas and techniques for future reference! :) You might notice that I am wearing the same nightgown I wore when I received Thelma, my 1920s wax mannequin head with glass eyes. This is because it was the same day… and she ultimately helped me in finishing this project! 🫂💛 • Thank you again for supporting my work, I have been receiving an overwhelming enthusiasm and reception, and I am very grateful!! :) It can also be a bit exhausting, so I am trying to balance things and take it one step at a time. I do however appreciate your interest and time very much, even if I cannot respond to every comment and message. Market Day on Saturday! @oldbeachfarmersmarket @v.b.flea We had a fabulous market day this past Saturday and truly got lucky with the weather (the day after it rained and temperatures dropped, so thankful for the good Saturday weather! 🥰). I was only able to do two of the four markets at the Vibe because I had teenagers with me and not much time to look around, but next one for sure! 😁 Here showing this gorgeous rainbow calico Gunne Sax! Thank you so much @marcellanancyviola for the dress, I had been looking for this one for a bit. 💕 I accessorized with red items (shoes, probably a dupe Gucci purse unless I got really lucky at the thrift store, adorable red flower earrings from @crowns.and.daisies and a vintage hat I found at the antique store). I tied fabric ribbons from the dress to my hair and my purse, but planning on making hair bows with the remaining fabric. Thank you @marcellanancyviola for sending the fabric!
