Still buzzing… 2026 @tentoonerum Daiquiri competition WINNER!! First competition & first win! with my favorite rum!! Started with 55 incredible mixologists and three rounds of competition.
Feeling super proud and I love being part of the NYC bartending/mixologist community. I have been bartending for 13 years and have been running cocktail programs for 8 years, but the growth I’ve had in the last few years since moving here is undeniable. It has leveled up my drive to keep learning and growing. All the talent around forces you to push your boundaries and do things you didn’t even know you could do.

For Caribbean Heritage Month, CaribbeanMade will be honoring Chef India Doris at their upcoming event on June 15, 2026.

She is a CM Mover because she is a recipient of the MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities 2025 Young Chef Award. India has honed her craft in some of New York City’s most celebrated kitchens, including Crown Shy (1 Michelin Star), SAGA (2 Michelin Stars), and The NoMad (1 Michelin Star), before launching Markette Restaurant in NYC.

Stay tuned as she shares her culinary journey and perspective on bringing Caribbean influences to the forefront of contemporary dining.

Today we’re proud to share the official trailer for Moonlighting!

What began as a film about women navigating dual lives slowly revealed something deeper — a story about agency, resilience, and the courage it takes to rebuild yourself through life’s most difficult moments.

At its heart, Moonlighting follows four women actively redefining who they are and what their lives can become. Their journeys remind us that growth rarely happens in comfort — it happens in motion.

This film would not exist without the extraordinary women who trusted us with their stories, and the talented collaborators who helped bring this vision to life. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who supported the journey along the way.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re excited to begin introducing Moonlighting to festival audiences and the broader community of partners and collaborators who champion stories centered on women’s voices and lived experiences.

This month, @camari_mick hosted her annual Follow Your Roots dinner in celebration of Black History Month - this year at the iconic @gramercytavern. Each of the seven courses was created by a renowned Black chef hailing from a region along the Diaspora, showcasing their talents and signature culinary styles through one singular ingredient each course – selected by culinary historian Thèrese Nelson (@blackculinary) for their history and importance in the African ancestral foodways.
A portion of the proceeds were donated to National Black Food & Justice Alliance (@blackfoodjustice), a nonprofit aimed at developing Black leadership and supporting Black communities.
