🚗💨 Sometimes the adventure is just as exciting as the destination!

That’s part of the inspiration behind my song “The LIE.” 🎶 A little freedom, a little anticipation, and the thrill of meeting someone. ✨

Have you ever taken a drive when the possibilities seemed endless? 🌅

When I first moved to southern Connecticut from Tennessee—now, I grew up mostly in northern Connecticut—people would say, “Oh, I’m going to the island for the weekend!” 🏝️
And I’m thinking, “Are they going to Jamaica? Wow.” 😂 Because to me, an island has palm trees. 🌴☀️
And I finally realized that “the island” means Long Island. 🤦‍♀️
Which brings me to “The LIE”… a song that starts with a drive on the Long Island Expressway. 🚗🎶
