Ended @animeink_con with a BANG ❗️(Volume up)

Marcus the worm went up for Best of Show! There was tough competition up there with him, but he somehow, tragically, didn’t win. He will always be a winner in both @vannasweetheart and my hearts 💞

Huge congrats to @serenatattoos for taking it!!! 3 full days back to back and her winning piece was insane!

MARCUS HAS ENTERED THE REAL WORLD. 😳😂

If you’ve fallen down the VRChat rabbit hole, you probably already know Marcus the Worm and apparently he escaped VR long enough to show up at @fanexpochicago

This cosplayer stayed COMPLETELY in character for our entire interview, so I did my best to play along on the fly… and as someone who already finds the entire Marcus/VRChat universe ridiculously funny, I was absolutely fangirling 😂

That voice reading scripts on TikTok — the “Story Teller”? That was Joseph. So was Marcus the Worm.

Ronald Joseph Miller, 1946–2026. Drum major in Pittsfield, Illinois. Tenor sax on tour with Ike & Tina Turner (@tinaturner ). Herbie Hancock’s neighbor, and his friend for fifty years (@herbiehancock ). At 70 he went all-in on the thing he’d always been — an actor — and booked 200 projects in two years. At 79, his film won Best Inspirational Film at the Cannes World Film Festival.

Joseph passed away in Los Angeles on June 26. His friends and family are celebrating his life on Saturday, August 29 at 11 AM in LA — and everyone who loved him, or his voice, is welcome to ask for an invitation.

Good afternoon folks! Today I’m very happy to be sharing a recent commission I did of the ICONIC Marcus the Worm pose! Instead of hating on a rock his sights are set on a lone skull on the ground, maybe they had beef? Anyways I LOVE sculpting Marcus so this project was an absolute joy for me 😁 Remember to swing by this weekends @3frenchhensfrenchcountrymarket to see some wonderful art! 🐌🐢
