A little bit of gold for III Wise-Ish Men? 🏆🎬
Delighted to see this fabulously fun little comedy heading to two festivals — selected for Suffolk Shorts — East x East 2026 and the TICFF International Comedy Film Festival in Trikala, Greece.
First up, III Wise-Ish Men? gets its first outing on the big screen at Suffolk Shorts at the Abbeygate Cinema, Bury St Edmunds, on Thursday 15 October. After only seeing it online until now, I’m really looking forward to watching it with an audience on a proper cinema screen!
Written and produced by Marcus Brooker @marcusgideon, directed by Jonnie Howard @thejhfilm, with cinematography by Neil Oseman @neiloseman, and featuring Rosina Williams @rosinawilliamscomedy, @jgugenheim, Marcus and yours truly.
Huge congratulations to everyone involved — lovely to see this little film travelling! ❤️🎬
And if you fancy watching III Wise-Ish Men? before it hits the big screen, the film is still available via the link in my bio. 🔗

Introducing EAST X EAST Official Selection: Three Wise-ish Men by Jonnie Howard @thejhfilm

On their journey to Bethlehem, the Three Wise Men stop to argue over whose gift matters most, turning a sacred mission into a humorous clash of pride, doubt, and friendship. 👑👑👑

There’s more than a touch of Monty Python in this short film. @marcusgideon

NEW STILLS:

A very late share from me, but this one deserves a proper post.

I worked as Unit Stills on a comedy skit written and produced by Marcus Brooker, a playful twist on the classic Christmas story (not quite how you remember it). Very Monty Python Esq!

2025 has been many things;

It started out very very poorly in the loss of our twins, but slowly the year progressed and here's 20 photos on how the year got better.

There's been:
Mummy Daddy days
Play dates
Days out
Perfect split the G
Lamborghini Drives
Stage Shows
Holidays
Boat trips
Stag dos
Weddings
Close friends having babies! ☺️
PIZZA!!!
Sofa days
Birthdays
And of course, the icing on the cake, our little Boxing day baby arrival.

To start the year with a lost pregnancy, but to still end the year with a baby I feel incredibly blessed beyond belief. Incredibly proud of @lucy24494 for just everything but of course birthing little Alfie I'll never stop being proud of you!

Here's to 2026, I'm gonna kick yo ass!

I’ve been holding out on this one…
A few BTS shots from a wonderfully fun short film by Marcus Brooker, directed by Jonnie Howard.

Filmed back in November — and I can’t say much yet… but the release is imminent. 👀

What I can say: it was freezing.
Dawn to dusk on the stunning Kessingland Beach, Suffolk coast — a balmy 3°C 🥶

Frozen toes, numb lips… and totally worth it.
An absolute privilege to be involved.
More very soon.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my followers — here’s to a fun and prosperous ’26 for us all! 🎄✨

What a way to launch @joyfulnessapproved

We started this journey at the beginning of the year and here we are having just spent 3 days at Hampton Court Festival with some of the most captivating guests, glorious sunshine, breathtaking scenery and audiences full of joy and curiosity.

Hosting the Joyfulness Talks Stage and launching the Joyfulness Approved Book club with @immediatemediaco at @hrpfestivals has been a complete joy and we can’t WAIT to roll out the ‘approved’ franchise.

With @nickede being the perfect yin to my yang in all things joyful, this really is just the beginning.
