Today’s message on HONOR was full of knowledge, conviction, and reminders I needed.

We honor God not only by what we do inside the church, but by how we live when we leave it. Our kindness, our character, our treatment of others, and the words that come from our mouths should show that we belong to God.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:6

Pastor reminded us of Moses. Moses desired to enter the Promised Land, but in a moment of frustration with the people, he allowed anger to influence his actions and words. He called the people rebels and failed to honor God as holy before them (Numbers 20:10–12). That moment had consequences—Moses saw the Promised Land, but he did not enter it.

Yet, God still honored Moses and the work he had done. Scripture tells us that God Himself buried Moses, and to this day, no one knows where his grave is (Deuteronomy 34:5–6). What a reminder that God can honor our service while still holding us accountable for our choices.

Pastor said something that stayed with me: Many of us are headed toward a “Promised Land”—whatever God has prepared for us—but sometimes our own mouths keep us circling the land we should have already left.

That made me ask myself: What am I doing—or saying—that could be delaying my next Promised Land?

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” — Proverbs 18:21

God gives us opportunities, assignments, influence, and purpose. I cannot afford to become careless with my words simply because I am frustrated, disappointed, or tired.

Today was a Sunday of knowledge and necessary reminders: Honor God everywhere. Honor Him in how I treat people. Honor Him with my character. Honor Him with my mouth. And live in such a way that people can see Him through me.

Lord, help me walk in a way that honors You—not just on Sunday, but daily and everywhere. 🙏🏽❤️

Before the school bells ring again, I will carry the turquoise waters, graceful stingrays, starfish beneath my feet, golden sunsets, and the sound of palm trees dancing in the breeze. Grand Cayman gave me exactly what my heart needed..a chance to pause, breathe, laugh with my loves, and return renewed for another year of pouring into others. 🌴🌊☀️⭐💙

Stepped out after work last night to celebrate my friend Angie's @msangiebaby5 amazing husband and our dear friend, Bill, @dolla_bill_1906 at The Kennedy... and what a spectacular evening it was.

From the vibe and energy to the handcrafted cocktails and incredible food, every detail was unforgettable. But as always, the best part was the people. Great conversations, genuine laughter, and beautiful memories made for a truly magical night.

Here's to celebrating the people who make life so special. ❤️✨

Baby... when two New Orleans girls walk into a Michelin-starred restaurant @lejardinierhouston with our strong, handsome kings who believe in us, motivate us, and support every dream we chase... that's a different kind of feeling. That's Black excellence. That's love. That's friendship. That's purpose.
The food was amazing, the bubbly kept flowing, and somewhere between the laughter and the French cuisine, we were still our New Orleans selves... talking with our accents, cracking up, and saying, "We're bougie... with the poo-poo and pee-pee!" 🤣⚜️ Some things never change, and honestly, I hope they never do

Toya, your birthday gave all four of us exactly what we needed—a chance to celebrate our wins, reflect on how far we've come, laugh about the journey, and dream even bigger about what's ahead.
I truly believe our New Orleans roots are one of our greatest gifts. They gave us grit, ambition, resilience, faith, and just enough flavor to walk into any room without ever forgetting who we are.

My hubby, my love, surprised me with tickets to see my crush, Rick Ross... babyyyyy! 😍🔥 There was ZERO sitting down! We rapped every word, danced all night, and had the BEST time. ❤️🎶
Then we woke up early and switched the whole vibe. ✈️🌴 Palm trees, crystal-clear water, beach views, and pure relaxation. This is exactly what my heart needed.
Vacation before heading back to work? Yessssss! 🙌🏽 So thankful for a husband who knows how to create beautiful memories. Feeling blessed, grateful, and soaking up every single moment. ☀️🌊💙

There was a time when I could hold my baby boys in my arms. Now, they're the ones holding me. 💚 If I'm honest, as they've grown, I've sometimes felt like empty nesting was a little like losing pieces of them. But moments like these remind me to simply rest in their arms and soak it all in. 🥹💕
