Found a copy of Herman Yau’s 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 (1993) lying around. Loosely based on the infamous “Eight Immortals Restaurant murders” in Macau, this Category III cult classic stars Wong as a restaurant owner with a particularly “hands-on” approach to running his business.🍴😋 Come watch this stomach-churning mix of true crime and exploitation horror that definitely wouldn’t pass a food hygiene inspection. 🥸🕵️‍♀️ 📽️ WED 7 OCT 7:30PM - Frankenstein (2025) 🍿 Rating: 16+ Del Toro adapts the first ever science fiction novel and gothic literature classic to the big screen in his 2025 release of Frankenstein, starring Oscar Issac, Jacob Elordi and Mia Goth. Victor Frankenstein is driven to push natural philosophy to pioneering heights not yet seen by the science - to seize for himself, the construction of life himself from the hands of God into the hands of man. But birth is not a blessing for his creature, who struggles with the question of his existence and isolation from the lineage of man. Come catch this modern reinterpretation of Shelly’s long famed work and discuss with us afterwards the faithfulness (or lack thereof) with the original source material. Outside food and drinks permitted, donations to the space encouraged! 📽️ FRI 9 OCT 7:30PM - Widow’s Bay EP 1-4 (2026) Sweeping this year’s Emmys with a record 14 wins, Widow’s Bay centers around a fictional New England island town and the supernatural horrors that occur within it. Watch the first 4 episodes

mama I did my first booth! 👅 This was alot of fun and I wouldn’t be here making this post if my dear friend Cleo had not pushed me to apply for this edition of Mad Market so thank u CleoPan 😛 and also thank you to my dear friends Alena, Riz and Danish for helping out with my booth as well ❤️‍🔥 Thank u to the Mad Market Team for always thinking of us and making sure we are comfortable during our boothing experience and last but not least thank u to my boothing neighbours for being so welcoming and awesome u guys r so talented and im so happy to have been your booth neighbour! <333 Honestly speaking, this really feels like a whole circle moment for me because I really loved last year’s installation for Singapore Night Festival called Kampung Chill which also took place at Capitol SG so to be able to booth at the same place under the same event feels some what like an accomplishment to me hehe… I hope one year from now I will be doing even more cool and fun things… But that’s all for now! Thank u for ur kind support friends!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS! We’ll be releasing the open call soon. But more than anything, I want to thank the team in Yishun who stepped up to make this happen. MORE CONTEXT NOT AVAILABLE IN THE SLIDES: before starting this pilot, we had already spent months working with LTA and SGPO to figure out how these bus-stop boards could be used. LTA identified eight bus stops we could use, and arranged for the boards to be cleared only once a month so that community contributions could actually stay up. The problem was that this agreement had not reached the ground. Anyway... READ THE SLIDES TO SEE HOW THE TEAM FIXED IT! And man, they’re so awesome. On Tuesday, the team actually met the contractors cleaning the bus stops & spoke to these hidden workers that maintain our built environment. I really love how public space projects have so much potential to create relationships across sectors. Fingers crossed that the project works out & we iron out the rest of the kinks in the following weeks. Very excited for what else has already been programmed but want to ensure reliability before we announce even more… AS ALWAYS: our beloved volunteers: @lyntte.lm - lyn @grakamole - grace @ryanmitchellchua - ryan @yikes_tyke - sam @kazirusss - aaron @metcemet__ - matthew @gontafugi- Sarah g @khatibshaman - azhad @mikkel.makes - mieke Thanks grace for the photos, and ofc, if you’d like to join us… COME!!!!! DM US! <3 <3

Van Dyke Brown print of a bag of bread The year was 2025. It was lunchtime, I was at north spine, I walked past the bakery next to each a cup and I had a vision… No bread was harmed in the making of this print! I was surprised it was able to capture some patterns and the translucency of the bag Check out this print and more at my upcoming booth! 📄 PAPER PASSION 30 MAY 2026 12PM - 9PM DECK SHOP-HOUSE, 4 LOR 24 GEYLANG #vandykebrown #contactprint #paperpassion

This is a print I made with soap and Cyanotype! I wanted to play around and see what effects it could create :) I also used diffetent materials. I “comp-ed” together an image made with a leaf (these leaves have such pretty shapes!) and some pieces from a tissue packet that had these lovely koi fish designs. I was obsessed with it. Check out this print and more at my upcoming booth! 📄 PAPER PASSION 30 MAY 2026 12PM - 9PM DECK SHOP-HOUSE, 4 LOR 24 GEYLANG #cyanotype #contactprint #paperpassion

WE ARE BOOTHING AT PAPER PASSION! I initially wanted to just showcase the cyanotypes I made last year in Song’s experimental photography class. But after visiting the current exihibiton at DECK, i thought — why not showcase my music postcards too? Afterall, the imagery from contact printing practices have and continue to inspire me in my artistic practices be it through design, photography or even filmmaking ;) So why not give you the full picture of the work that I do? I’m calling this collection Marky’s Garden because I noticed how much flora and fauna has influenced both my contact printing work as well as my design work. There are 3 brand new designs I made for this booth - influenced by the typography of my music postcards as well as using the images I created last year! There will also be @marcusmusictime archives and my @marcusmarkers series Midnight Oil in zine form! 📄 PAPER PASSION 30 MAY 2026 12PM - 9PM DECK SHOPHOUSE, 4 LOR 24 GEYLANG
