Development has to keep moving forward. 📈

New challenges for Zai this time, defensive footwork, coordination, ball control, change of direction and reaction work.

We’ve put a lot of time in together. As he improves, the work evolves with him. 🏀

Don’t let the defense decide which hand you can use. 🎯

Ball control without looking down → retreat and re-attack → finish through contact.

FOUNDATION → APPLICATION 🎯

Form work first. Then we took Kasey into movement, catch-and-shoot reps and 1-dribble pull-ups.

The drills are available everywhere. Knowing what to watch, correct and progress is the difference. 🧠🏀

NO LOOKING DOWN 👀🏀

Today Kasey had to control the basketball without relying on seeing it underneath her.

Started stationary.
Added movement.
Added counters.
Added changes of direction.

Take away one of the things a player relies on and see how well they can still control the ball.

Good work today Kasey 💯
