Haylalah: More than a remembrance, it is a renewal of the soul. 🤍
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
“Remember Me; I will remember you.” — Qur’an 2:152.
May our tongues remain moist with His remembrance and our hearts find peace in His nearness. Āmīn. 🕊️

I definitely didn’t go home empty handed from this event.

Talk about knowledge, meaningful connections, business exposure, new opportunities, and so much more! ✅

Beyond just attending an event, I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn, meet amazing people, connect with fellow entrepreneurs, and gain insights that can help me grow both personally and in business.

As a business owner, I’m learning that growth goes beyond what you know. It also involves the people you meet, the opportunities you position yourself for, and your willingness to keep learning and improving. And this event was a beautiful reminder of that!

A big shoutout to the amazing organisers for creating this platform and bringing business owners together.

And to the sponsors, @ginonaija , @bamamayonnaisenaija and @wumccabread , thank you for your support and the thoughtful takeaways. We truly appreciate it! ❤️

I’m leaving with more than just memories; I’m leaving with lessons, connections, and fresh perspectives to put into action.

Here’s to learning, growing, building meaningful relationships, and taking our businesses to greater heights! 🥂

Don’t stop learning.
Don’t stop growing.
Don’t stop connecting.

Keep showing up, keep improving, and keep surrounding yourself with people who inspire you to become better. Every connection is an opportunity, every lesson is a step forward, and every experience is a chance to grow.

Your next level requires continuous learning, personal growth, and the right connections.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep connecting. Your future self will thank you.

Spent my day surrounded by multi-million Naira inspiration at the Ilorin Business Summit! 💼✨

Listening to successful women share their raw industry journeys gave me all the ginger I needed for the rest of the year.
Thank you @drelizabethajibola for the amazing insights you gave us into the business world.
Thank you @mareebel for sharing with us your life story and for the little advice you gave me in a corner.
Thank you @evc_ng and all the other sponsors
But the real tension? Watching entrepreneurs try to change their lives with a 60-second elevator pitch for $1,000 and $2,000 grants! 🔥

Thank you @ilorinbusinesssummit @thesolarahmanbrand @tamirahentrepreneurshipcom for putting this masterpiece piece together 💯

I honestly don’t even know where to start from. 🥹❤️
The first time I saw the advert for the summit was when my sister @mariam_trish sent it to me. Shortly after, she texted me again, saying she had heard that registration was already closed.

I remember telling her I hadn’t seen the advert,Somehow, it never came across my timeline.

Then, a second chance came. My sister called me again and sent me the link immediately, saying they had reopened registration for just a few more hours. She encouraged me to apply because she genuinely believed it would be beneficial to me.

I was in the middle of a shoot when I received the message, so I rushed through the registration without properly going through the form. I didn’t realise there was an option to indicate whether I wanted to pitch my business or simply attend the summit. All I could think about was registering before the opportunity closed again.

When I eventually got to the summit, I learnt that the people who would pitch their businesses had already been selected based on their applications.

Honestly, I was pained. Not because the people who were selected didn’t deserve to be there, but because I knew I had a story too. I kept thinking about how much my sister believed in me and how excited she was about the possibility of me pitching my business. She had no idea that I wouldn’t be among those selected.

But Allah had something else for me that day. ❤️
As much as I was disappointed that I wouldn’t be pitching, I left that summit with something I never expected!renewed hope.
And that hope came through @mareebel 🥰❤️

✨ THE POWER BEHIND “حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ” 🤍

Sometimes, you will reach a point where explanations fail, people disappoint, doors close, and your strength seems to fade. In those moments, remember these powerful words:

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel.

“Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.” — Qur’an 3:173

This is more than a phrase; it is a declaration of trust in Allah. 🤲🏽

It reminds the heart that: 🕊️ You are never required to control everything. 🤍 You can release the burden of what you cannot change. 🌿 You can remain hopeful when the way forward seems unclear. ✨ You can trust Allah even when you don't understand His plans.

Saying Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel does not mean life will never hurt. It means that even in pain, your heart knows where to turn.

When people fail you, trust Allah. When fear overwhelms you, trust Allah. When the future looks uncertain, trust Allah.

Allah is enough, and He is the best One to rely upon. 🤍

May Allah grant us hearts that trust Him sincerely, tongues that remember Him constantly, and lives filled with His mercy. Ameen. 🤲🏽
