💕 #FriesianFriday with the most handsome boy @nicothefriesian 💕

LOVE the color gel technique that his owner @mareishmedia uses…the color is done in person with the lights…not with photoshop so it is very special! ⭐️

Gorgeous shine thanks to @espanasilk shampoo and conditioner…our favorite is the All Natural Protein set it smells so fresh. 💦

Hmmm…I wonder what fun photo shoots we will think of this year. 🤔

Susan of @mareishmedia and I had a great time with @nicothefriesian in 2024. ⭐️ Now that he is an accomplished studio horse we will have to come up with some fresh, inventive ideas. ❤️

What a wonderful year with my two equine partners Rovandio and @nicothefriesian ⭐️

Rovandio is really coming into his own as an equine artist and dazzled the crowd at the @worldequestriancenter in the @iberianhorsespectacular 🎨

Nico has discovered his talent for photo shoots with his owner @mareishmedia and we had so much fun! 🤩 We are also training in dressage and have begun some trick and liberty training as well. He is truly a special personality and I think 2025 is going to be a year of new adventures! ❤️

I spent a majority of my time this year building my Musical Freestyle online course and I am having so much fun with my first group of students! 🎶

I love the fresh start of a New Year and I hope all my friends and family feel the same. ❤️ Let’s have a good one!!

He has such a kind soul ❤️, loves to learn 🧑‍🎓, loves his food 🥕, and has a growing fan club who loves him right back. 😎

THANK YOU 💕 I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to a wonderful group of friends that helped me at the Iberian Showcase.

Susan McClafferty (@mareishmedia) you are such a creative, smart, and generous equestrian I love being a part of your special heart-centered team. ❤️ We had such a great time watching the night show and staying at your house was a real treat.

Connie Stockwell thank you 🙏 for traveling with us, letting us use your trailer, helping to pack/unpack, and spend time at the booth with all our special participants in the coloring contest. ❤️ VIP helper of the weekend!

Michelle Frank it was so fun to have you join us for the first time! Your artistic experience was well appreciated and you did an amazing job putting together all the ornaments! 🥰

Tori Kistler (@calicochromecreative) thank you for all your help behind the scenes, especially with my costume! 🤪 Rovy also appreciated your assistance and I am so lucky to have your beautiful photos to share from the event.

And so much fun to see friends that have gone through the performance experience many times over Marsha Sapp, Ashley Mancuso, and Alyssia Martin. ⭐️ Looking forward to future adventures together!

Thank you to my parents Peggy and Ken who helped me pack on Sunday and get us on the way home in record time! 💙

Fall weather is on its way! 🍂 We aren’t cold enough for blankets here in Florida (yet) but Nico has this gorgeous @horseware blanket from @adamshorsesupplies ready when he needs it.

Not sure who needs to hear this today…but sometimes you just need to take a breath. ❤️

I definitely get overwhelmed sometimes…so many things I think I should do, want to do, don’t have time to do, am fearful to do…etc, etc.

So this is a reminder for myself to just pause, be grateful, and be happy that I can be with horses every day. ❤️

Happy how this braiding job turned out on @nicothefriesian. Susan came for a photo shoot yesterday and asked if I could do two braids…this is how it turned out! Stay tuned for some incredible photos!!!

My artistic journey with Rovandio started back in 2010. I had the crazy idea to blend my dressage and artistic skills for art on horseback. 🎨

Fourteen years later we are still creating art together. ❤️ Now that Rovy is older he enjoys painting himself and has his own unique style of swooping brushstrokes.

I have known Rovy since the day he was born and he will be with me for the rest of his life. He is truly a wise old soul, highly intelligent, and a true performer. ⭐️

Come meet Rovy, watch him paint, and have him sign an autograph at the @worldequestriancenter October 18/19 for the Iberian Showcase. He loves his adoring fans. 🥰

I am so grateful to have Nico in my life. ❤️ I really missed being a Friesian Mom after Douwe passed and after I left Little River. Can a horse breed be your spirit animal? 🥰

Thank you @mareishmedia for the opportunity to build a new partnership with @nicothefriesian and I couldn’t think of a better person to share this journey with. You have officially joined the Friesian Mom Club! 👏

Beautiful bridle from @shophalterego ⭐️
Shiny coat thanks to @espanasilk

@nicothefriesian has officially begun his art journey! 🎨 I wanted to share how I teach my horses to paint from the very first step.

The painting process can be broken down into three separate tricks that will then blend together for actual painting skills! 😄

Those tricks are:

1) Touch (start with a touch ball and then progress to touching a small canvas)

2) Picking up Objects (how to pick up and lift the object)

3) Up and/or Smile (this teaches the horse how to lift up to learn the brushstrokes)

Do you think your horse would make a good artist? Send me a message! ❤️🎨
