Thinking of Marella a lot today. ‘Will’ is the most memorable job I’ve done - it had its ups and downs... and has to be one of the toughest jobs I have done. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity Marella gave me to join her team. I have never been pushed, believed in or trusted like she did. I learnt so many valuable lessons down in Wales for work and in my personal life. I met some wonderful people and have some of the best work memory’s. Thank you for the chance to prove myself and thank you for your selflessness in giving me and so many other young aspiring crew members opportunities. You are one of a kind and will always be remembered ❤️ Rest in Peace x

It’s the First day filming a new comedy drama “Home “ .I couldn’t let the day pass without mentioning Marella Shearer .She gave me:- My first work experience a comedy drama “holding the baby “I remember being so terrible cold , with all the wrong clothes ,ended up wearing quite a bit of Marella wardrobe!
My first payed assistant job a comedy drama -“Dressing for Breakfast “,
My first payed Artist job comedy drama the amazing -“Drop the dead donkey “
Years later Marella got me my first designer credits -“Spooks 6” . Over 20years later I wouldn’t be the designer I am if it wasn’t for all of the opportunities she gave me and always with a great story to tell...a huge influence on me ..Always my mentor.
...thank you Marella all my love ,rest in peace. #makeupdesigner
