Haar theaterdebuut: 19 november in Theater De Regentes.

The magic of Hafez ✨ ‘Voice of the Unseen’ at @ilfutrecht last Saturday Soprano Mahdokht Mojiri & pianist Rojin Shaki and the wisdom of Ghazal 163 ✨ “Without the beloved’s face, no rose can bring delight; Without the wine, spring is not a joy. The edge of the meadow, the circling of the garden Without tulip-cheeked beauty, none are pleasing. The cypress’s dance and the rose’s grace Without the song of birds, they charm not. With a sweet-lipped, rose-bodied beloved Without embrace and kiss, what joy is there? Every design that reason’s hand may weave It is worthless to save the image of the beloved. Life itself is but a trivial coin, O Hafez Unworthy, unless offered in devotion.” (ghazal 163) Thank you @miranda_lakerveld @mayafuckpapaya @marijke_de_schepper @sylvavanrosse @marenevanholk #hafez #sufimusic #sufipoetry #transcendence #wisdom

Can’t wait to pick her brain!” Stay tuned for more… 👀 📸: @profdaydreamer

. I stare at the wooden frame holding a photograph of the city I spent my youth in, a picture taken behind a window sealed with tape, the only thing keeping it from giving way from explosion. & I stand upright front of a crowd, singing, willing myself also not to fall apart… The truth is, the difference between me and that window is just a strip of tape. For all the rules we tried to follow in our path, all the ways we learned to endure, we were the same: watching, holding, and we were fragile... I wanted to be a reflection of all the turquoise tiles of my city, whose bodies have been trembling these days so hard, like us… Huge thanks to dear @miranda_lakerveld and the entire @worldoperalab team & @aftab.darvishi for making that night possible, for giving us a space to share, and simply to exist for a day in kindness and warmth. I’m also deeply grateful to have stood alongside such beautiful people, to witness them, and to build something meaningful together that night… Our meaningful pictures by @marijke_de_schepper ✨ Artist of the Night: @marenevanholk Rozhin Shaki @athenataghavi @s.naghsh @sabaalizadeh @shirin_rezaee @behaaafarid “Voice of the Unseen” April 2026 📍@abeautifulmess.nl Amsterdam, Netherlands, @worldoperalab ✨ #worldoperalab #amsterdam #netherlands #voice #unseen

15- powerhouse @nihiloxica WOW!
17- and larger than life @abdullahminiawyofficial . … and many other concerts and sensations that do not fit in this space. Sound installations that bend your ears. The gift of the unexpected everywhere. And in between: walking the city, reunions, late meals, the rare luxury of time to listen. Festivals like this remind me why these spaces matter —for risk, for experimentation, for community. Let’s keep them open, independent and free. More than ever. Thank you Rewire. Thank you @arvand.dashtaray.private and @marenevanholk love you very much my friends❤️‍🔥
