Happy #NewMemberMonday with the amazing Marguerite! Below, she reflects on the wonderful memories made so far and how grateful she is to be a part of our sisterhood💕

“Graduating from a very small school, coming to BU was such a huge adjustment for me. Going through formal recruitment, I was hoping to find a group of girls that would remind me of the close-knit community I had back home. Recruitment could honestly feel really stressful and overwhelming at times, but every time I talked to Leila Elayan, my now GGBig, everything felt a little lighter. From the moment I walked into DG, I was surrounded by girls who were not only beautiful and intelligent, but also hilarious, welcoming, and incredibly inspiring.

Ever since becoming a DG, I’ve found friendships and a support system that have already meant so much to me. A special shoutout to my twin, Sadie, and my big, Brynn, who have made my experience in DG even more special since joining. There honestly hasn’t been a single chapter night where I haven’t found myself crying laughing at least once, and somehow every week I leave loving these girls even more. They have made such a big school feel so much smaller, and I’m so grateful for how supported, valued, and celebrated they’ve already made me feel. DG has given me friendships that I know will last far beyond college, and I truly feel like I’ve found some of my future bridesmaids in this sisterhood.

I couldn’t imagine my college experience without DG!”
