Meet your Portland Photobooth team! This beautiful booth is run by Wes (@instant.photobooth) and Margaret (@margaretskiff).
Wes acquired this beauty from a man in Maine who rescued it from Hampton Beach New Hampshire. It was a boardwalk booth and basically falling apart when he got it! Wes, along with the help of some friends, completed a full restoration of the booth and rebuilt it from the ground up into what it is today. He has a few other booths at @autophoto in NYC and @diesel_cafe in Somerville Mass.
Margaret is your fav photobooth’s technician. Chemical changes, paper replacements, missing strips? She’s your girl. She took one analog booth strip in NYC, instantly fell in love, and learned everything she possibly could about the history and workings of these beauties! Margaret then made it her personal mission to bring one back to the State of Maine, and with Wes’s help that dream became a reality!
