WHAT DOES LOVE LOOK LIKE WHEN IT TAKES OVER A SPACE?

NU LOVE ERA is our vision for a new era of hospitality – one shaped by culture, driven by creativity and built around experience.

At the centre, a reflective heart became the source of a Love Network spreading through NU; connecting bodies, space and performance. A heartbeat became the universal language of the night.

From a sculptural interpretation of the Kama Sutra, to The Last Supper dissolving into Food Porn. From the tension of a Kissing Duet to bodies losing and finding one another again. Fall in love. Again and again and again. Soldiers of Love. Not fighting against each other. Fighting for what connects us.

LOVE as a thread, sound, body, taste – and ultimately, a feeling that moved through the NU.

THE NU LOVE ERA HAS BEGUN.
Sensual.
Vulnerable.
Excessive.
At times uncomfortable.
At times euphoric.
Never just a show.

For one night, NU became a living network of love.

Amores aimed straight for the heart.
A gaze. A kiss. A silence were shared.
Bodies met. Heartbeats accelerated.
Desire became performance.
Intimacy became art.

Performers, music, movement and hundreds of people – connected through one shared pulse.

This is just the beginning.

Residency #7: November 16 – 29, 2026 😍

This year, Marģers Vanags has been selected for the residency.
This post offers a glimpse into his artistic research. 😊

In this residency, Marģers Vanags explores how touch can evolve into trust through the physical relationship between three bodies. By working with weight distribution, responsiveness, and deep listening, the research investigates how bodies adapt to one another and create movement together.

Introducing materials such as ice, sand, and slime, the project examines how different sensory experiences and external elements influence connection, cooperation, and shared problem-solving. Through this process, Marģers hopes to discover new movement possibilities that emerge from collaboration, instability, and mutual trust.

This paid Tanznetz residency takes place as a double residency in collaboration with the For Exchange+ network (Bavaria / Baden-Württemberg), fostering artistic exchange across regional dance communities.

Concept & Choreography: Marģers Vanags @marggersv

Final stop of the tour — where it all began.

Initiated through „48 Dance“ @tanzlabor.ulm / ROXY Ulm (Artistic Director: Dana Ruttenberg, 2024), this work grew out of the encounters and impulses developed there.

Grateful to return with a full-length production. 🧡

Don’t miss this last chance
