Buckwheat bread (Ajdov kruh) 🇸🇮👩‍🍳🍞 - is my favorite Slovenian bread. So crunchy and most importantly delicious 😋 . First of all, I want to thank @margit_smole for the recipe ❤❤❤ Thank you my dear 🇸🇮 Slovenian friend, it turned out better than I expected 🍞👀 . Also, many thanks to my dear friend @emeraldahera who gave me nuts from Greece, which I used for making this bread 🇬🇷🌰❤ . ⚜ The recipe ⚜ - 200g buckwheat flour (you can get it in Tesco) - 400g plain white flour - 1 sachet of yeast (7g) - 150g nuts - 370ml warm water - 1 tea spoon of salt ⚜ Preparation ⚜ - Mix yeast with warm water and leave it for 5 minutes. - Mix two different flours and add salt. - Add water + yeast mixture to flour. - While mixing it for 10 minutes gradually add broken-down nuts. - Cover with tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size. - Before putting it into oven, cover the dough with a little bit of flour and cut it on top as you wish, to get it more crunchy. - First 15 minutes of baking put a cup of water next to the bread, it needs moisture to avoid dryness in taste. - After 15 minutes, remove a cup of water from the oven and bake 30 minutes more. - Bake it on maximum temperature that your oven can do. 220 - 230°C will do. Bon Appetit 🍞❤😍
