CUPS at @brunettewinebar Friday was fun as hell!!! So many friends from so many different parts of my life came through, made new friends, felt gassed tf 🆙 Thanks so much guys 🥹 Thanks Jessie n Max for hosting me 🫶🏻

This ceramic practice means so much to me and I’m not willing to diminish its importance by just casually selling my work. I am kind of a serial small biz opener and I am not letting this become that. I love making these cups and sharing them, I love witnessing others love them. Watching someone pick up and inspect, hem and haw over, take their sweet time to find the perfect one, their favorite, for whatever reason. Watching people hold and admire and sip from and slosh and spill from and cheers with, these are the things that make me feel OK about gently letting capitalism brush into this thing that is so special to me. Nights like this.
