truly, i have never felt more connected to a character than rusty. every since the moment my dad stepped foot onstage as reverend shaw in 2024, i knew i had to play rusty at some point in my life. i never dreamed that day would come less than two years later. having the ability to play rusty is something i only ever dreamed about, and im forever grateful for this opportunity and the countless lessons i have taken from this experience.

to my friends, cast members, crew, and everyone who helped this show come together, thankyou. i could write about each and every one of you for hours because i have so much love in my heart for all of you and your hard work put into this show. getting to experience this show with this group of people brought back my love for theater and reminded me why i do what i do.

finally, thankyou mom. without you by my side this entire show, i would have never had the confidence to get onstage and finish this show. you kept me going, reminding me that i can do anything i put my mind to.

eternally grateful, rusty.
