Jamie was ever so pleased that Claire choose him over Frank. We were so pleased with her decision as well.

Upon Ellen Mackenzie's marriage to Brian Fraser, Ellen's brothers, Colum and Dougal, insisted that she not be a tenant on Fraser lands, but instead live on a freehold. The estate of Broch Tuarach, situated along the border between the Fraser and Mackenzie lands, was thus deeded to Brian Fraser, but a clause in the deed stipulated that ownership of the estate must pass to Ellen's issue only. If she had died without bearing children, the land would have passed back to Lord Fraser of Lovat, and not to any children Brian may have had by another woman. However, Ellen did have two children that lived to adulthood that being Jamie and daughter Jenny - and so Jamie inherited the estate upon his father's
death.
Named for an old broch on the land, Broch Tuarach means "north-facing tower" in Gaelic. Lallybroch, as the estate in is known among those who live there, in turn means "lazy tower". Jamie explains to Claire, who fails to see how a cylindrical structure could face a particular direction or be called lazy, that the door of the structure faces north, and the nickname comes from the fact that the tower leans slightly to the north - owing to its falling down and being rebuilt many times over the years.

Toda historia tiene un principio y un final. Esta foto (aunque falta gente a la que aprecio mucho y no están ahí) describe una etapa de mi vida que solo me ha traído felicidad y buenos momentos.
Outlander es mucho más que una serie, los vínculos creados, los viajes a mi lugar favorito del planeta, Escocia 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, los grandes momentos vividos en convenciones y las AMISTADES que me llevo, eso se queda para siempre en mi ❤️
Esta serie ha sido mi tabla salvavidas en muchos momentos, y en esta última etapa más si cabe, porque la vida no es fácil y a veces te tienes que agarrar a algo para seguir, y sin duda Outlander y todas las personas que formáis parte de esto, me habéis ayudado mucho, aunque no lo sepáis, es una realidad. Hoy celebro mi cumpleaños y a la vez celebro el fin de una serie que me ha marcado para siempre, no podía tener mejor regalo 💝 . GRACIAS por estar ahí y vivir esta locura conmigo, se os quiere mucho🥰, y como siempre digo, OUTLANDER FOREVER 💙

My grandmother and mother read @diana_gabaldon’s books when I was still a girl forming my idea of what love means. I lost both women young, before they got the chance to see @caitrionabalfe and @samheughan embody the characters who brought them so much escape, hope, and joy. (And before they could see their own story about their 36-year search for a missing son published.) Watching @outlander_starz over the past decade—seeing @sophie.Skelton ‘s Brianna lose and reunite with her mother, and Jamie and Claire as grandparents meeting yearned-for grandchildren—has helped me heal from losing the women I wish I could time-travel to see. So it was surreal to camp out in the cold with strangers-turned-friends and end up on the red carpet with the cast. To @rikrankin @laurenlyle7 @johnhunterbell @duncan.lacroix @grahammactavish @mrdavidberry @cesardomboy @charles_vandervaart thank you for braving midges and corsets to bring your characters to life. 🔙 It’s been a month since I did one of the most spontaneous thing in my life thanks to @movistarplus I could join the #SamEnMovistarPlus event @palacioprensa Madrid.
My first #outlander event has been more special through the amazing @mypeakchallenge community support since I joined it together with some @spanishspkpeakers (thanks admins).
Between his different commitments we (@spanishspkpeakers & @balearicpeakers) were lucky to met @samheughan again entering to #hombresesquire 🇪🇸 awards celebrated at the Casino of Madrid.
Besides of the heavy rainfalls we had a great blast so I’ll certainly never forget these funny hours. I’m very thankful & proud to be part of this beautiful community of @mypeakchallenge. Thank you !
