Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at From Employee to Entrepreneur: Women’s Roundtable & Mastermind during LA Tech Week!

I shared a little about my journey from software engineer to full-time tech content creator, and what it took to make that transition.

I started creating content as a side project while working full-time. Eventually, my audience grew, brands started reaching out, and content creation became a real business. But even when my creator income matched my engineering salary, I was hesitant to take the leap.

Getting laid off for the second time ended up giving me the push I needed!

We talked about the opportunities and challenges of entrepreneurship, from unpredictable income to trusting your own path, even when others don’t quite understand it.

A big thank you to the organizers @mariakami and @kroshkad for inviting me and bringing together such an inspiring group of women. It was lovely connecting with everyone! ❤️

These are values I aspire to live every day. It’s a far-from-perfect score. But they are important, and my heart warms when I see others live them, and I get to live them and share them too.

Thanksgiving continues to be my favorite holiday for this reason. I’m blessed to have the life, the experiences, the abundance, the family and friends that I have - and the opportunities and challenges to practice these values.

Thank you for sharing them with me and for coming to fill this home with even more warmth on this day and every day.

There’s something magical that happens when people don’t just come to “receive,”
but also show up with what they can give -
their presence, their kindness, their stories, their hands helping, their laughter

And I felt so much joy seeing how everyone was involved, present, co-creating the evening together

That’s when the most beautiful connections happen. That’s when the room feels alive.
That’s when a simple evening turns into something meaningful

And it reminded me how close we all really are.
How much we share behind the scenes.
How deeply human warmth ties us together

Evenings like this bring you back to yourself.
They soften you.
Ground you.
Make you feel human again

If someone out there feels lonely -
remember, sometimes all it takes is reaching out.
Warmth always finds its way.
People respond.
We’re so much closer to one another than we think

✨ Наш незабываемый ретрит в Седоне, который прошел еще в ноябре… ✨

Кажется, это было совсем недавно, но воспоминания о тех днях до сих пор греют сердце. Пять дней, посвященных погружению в себя, силе природы и глубокому перерождению через практику. Каждый день был связан с одной из стихий:
🌍 Земля — заземление, стабильность и внутренний опор.
💧 Вода — текучесть, отпускание и мягкость.
🔥 Огонь — пробуждение силы и внутренней мотивации.
🌬️ Воздух — легкость, вдохновение и свобода.

Мы дышали, двигались, смеялись, плакали, обнимались и просто были… в настоящем моменте, в кругу поддержки и принятия. Каждый участник прошел свой путь, открывая новые грани себя.

Спасибо каждому, кто был частью этого волшебного пространства. 🙏❤️
Седона подарила нам не только завораживающие пейзажи и энергетические места силы, но и глубокие внутренние инсайты, которые продолжают раскрываться и после возвращения домой.
