⏮️🌪️Throwback to my very first intense (EF-2+) tornado almost half a decade ago near Bergen, Alberta! This intense tornado yielded winds of 190 km/h and destroyed a very well constructed outbuilding and inflicted very intense damage to forests and vegetation with maximum width of well over half a kilometre (600 m). This was THE tornado that kickstarted my career as a chaser! Unfortunately there was a significant injury associated with this tornado but thankfully it avoided populous areas and caused zero fatalities!

Welcome to ‘Mother Nature’s Unfolding’.

A short poem written by Zoe Herring (Me) 17/05/2026 🌪️⚡️❤️✨

This was a most exciting project to work on. A vision in bringing together a passion to create poetry and for apart of our world within storms and weather. As well as a passion for this community I’ve come to know and continue to.

I’ve always been fascinated by our world and the things it does in many aspects of life since I was little. As storms and weather is something I’ve come to personally have the experience of in this particular way (not just little me watching on TV anymore), I have an understanding and vision of what sense of feeling it brings. I wanted to create something that would bring those together who share that same experience and feeling. A nod and appreciation to our beautiful earth. Little me is so happy to bring this to you. I hope you all appreciate what has been created.

It’s insane to me how quickly this supercell transitioned from elevated to surface based! The landscape was also absolutely stunning 🤌⚡️
