No playa for me this year, for what would be my 7th burn. 💔 However, it is with good reason. A few months ago, I was offered a job in the TV industry- an industry I hadn’t worked in for 6 years. The catch? It was to start on August 31st… the first day of the burn 😭 What many of you may not know about me is that that before I jumped in the full-time-artist pond, I was producing TV for 10 years. Music was a hobby, just for fun- something I learned out of curiosity and a desire to appreciate the art more- I never intended on it becoming a career. Then COVID happened. Then the writers strikes. The industry flatlined, and music became my lifeline. 📈 A passion which was never meant to be about money, soon became about money, and as a result brought an entirely different energy to the equation. Relying on gigs to survive in effect tainted my overall intention and ability to communicate authentically through music. Don’t get me wrong, I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to travel the world and share music and have these incredible life experiences, but the truth is, “life experiences” don’t pay the bills. 😅 So I said yes to the job. And naturally, the universe immediately sent me a bunch of heartbreaking BM gig offers to check me and my decision. 🫪😑 I can proudly say that despite missing out on the burn this year, I know I am making the right decision— replenishing the resources, recharging the batteries🪫, and coming back to artist life in January 2027 revitalized, more creative and more me. Until then , you can find me in NYC for the fall and I will be announcing a few upcoming shows next week 💃🪩To those of you hitting the dust— stay hydrated, remember to eat and sleep, keep your phone in airplane mode, lose your friends, lose your mind, and always follow your flow. Oh and, FUCK YOUR BURN! 😜🌪️🫶🏻

best 8 days of my life. thank you garbicz and all of the talented artists who brought their incredibly inspiring music. I fell in love at least 5x per day. 🫶🏻✨also thank you loco paradiso for your tree and buk corner for your subwoofers. 🦭✨💕

Rio...you are a destination of dreams ✨ this was my second time to Rio and it was like re-living it for the first time. If you haven't been there, it's breathtaking, sexy and delicious (best Japanese food we've had in South America, until now). We also experienced it differently, we weren't drinking since we were on the "dieta" for the Ayahuasca Ceremony for our friends wedding retreat, so we really experienced it's nature and looking back, it's the main reason I would go back.

Cristo Redentor in 🎞️ this was the only beautiful blip of him we got before the clouds stormed in and blurred him away. But just being so close to something so grand again. Takes your breath away.

@jomartelgilly happy as a clam in @aldeia_akasha here we celebrated for many days, disconnected from our phones, work, and it's where I celebrated my 37th birthday. Just look at Jo's smile. We met so many wonderful humans that have stayed with us until this very day. A bond I cannot begin to explain 🥹

He really was the life of the Aya party 🐅🔥 I bet your curious about our experience since it's something we grazed over but barely talked about it depth. I can only speak for myself, and for me, it wasn't about "the medicine" or purging I was in it for the music, for the dancing, for the memories this night provided. Yes, i tried it, I released (cried for about an hour - i had lost so much the year before all this), but I also just lived it. The live music, the fire, the dancing. When would I ever get to be here again? So I didn't go on a "big trip" i chose to stay and dance.

Eric became our first non Brazilian friend in Brazil. He's really tall. Sometimes my neck hurt.

@luizayaka23 @rasuyawa the talent on these humans was above the ordinary. Their soundtrack is the audio for this album ✨

Mariam got her face painted and thought it would last a couple of days.. it just kept getting darker. I also remember us being bit uncontrollably by mosquitoes. She helped me survive.
