A thousand and one ways to dress.

A structured bomber made from Ivorian wax fabric, an oversized black T-shirt, and slightly baggy black trousers.
A top-dress designed to be worn by both a woman and a man, made from fabric from daim

Through this outfit, I tell my story in Lebanon.
These pieces are designed and made by me, Viany de Marceau, in Lebanon, using fabrics I buy here but that come from home, from elsewhere, from everywhere.

People often ask me, “Where do your fabrics come from?”
My answer is always the same: they come from everywhere.
I cannot move freely, so I work with the fabrics people are willing to sell or give to me, always with respect. I adapt my work to my reality, without ever losing my identity.

Creating is resisting.
Sewing is surviving.
Being a Black artist, a domestic worker, and an entrepreneur in Lebanon is an everyday struggle.

👉🏾 If my work speaks to you:
• share it with your friends
• talk about it
• support my art

Your support allows me to live from my work and keep creating, despite everything.

Thank you 🤍

This dress is made from floral satin
Very flared, with a waist belt and batwing sleeves that allow the body to breathe.

Every day, I experiment with new outfits.
This time, I was working with a different fabric, a smoother texture. My sewing machine wasn’t very happy with it… needle issues 😅
But just like in life, there is always a solution to every problem.

What I love most about this look is the freedom —
freedom of thought and freedom of movement. That is the true essence of this piece.

Creating is not always easy, and living from your creations is even harder.
So a comment, a like, a share, or a repost truly makes all the difference 🤍
Thank you for supporting Viany de Marceau.

Robe portefeuille.
