What they are doing for the people in Syria and Iraq are perfect examples of selfless acts of God. By supporting @PreemptiveLove, never did we expect or want anything in return yet a wonderful Syrian woman made our son the precious sweater he is wearing in this picture. To already have so little yet spend so much valuable energy and resources on making this for him, when we need NOTHING, left us speechless. I was overwhelmed with emotion when we received it. Preemptive Love goes where no one wants to go and does God's work for the people who need it most. I'm so thankful for @thejcourt, his wife @jessicajcourtney and all of the selfless people of Preemptive Love who sacrifice so much to make life a little easier for people who can give little to nothing in return. When asking Ron for a beach trip for Spring Break and Marissa's 18 birthday weekend all Ron wanted was a Pittsburgh Pirate Game. We gave him 2 and Marissa and I would lay on the beach for 1 and go to the 2nd one with him. WELL... Day one did NOT go as planned. Started off with a broken water reservoir in the car that cost us and then rain. Massive RAIN and his game was cancelled. So we picked him and we went to lunch to cheer him up. Well, while sitting at lunch my jaw drop as I see his favorite player and his fiancé walk in. Yep... His trip and time away from the Police Dept. was totally worth it NOW. Andrew McCutchen was nice enough to interrupt his time with his new fiancé and his private life to take a picture with Ron. He has NO idea how much it meant to him. Now we are praying for this rain to stop so he at least gets his game tomorrow! Thanks for being a classy celebrity and taking time for a fan!
