I’ve been holding on too long to baggage and stories that no longer serve me.

The need for people pleasing
The need to always feel productive(in a toxic workaholic way)
The need to get approval from others
…and many more.

Griya Beji is the only waterfall in Bali that is part of the purification ceremony.

I washed off the traits and stories that I wanted to move forward from with some my favorite friends and founders from @actaiglobal

We cleaned our bodies and soul with the holy waters through a ritual called Melukat.

Now I’m building the stories and beliefs that I need to take with me into this next chapter of life.

Day Four — ACTAI Bali 🇮🇩

Our final day of the tech talks included an inspiring story from Titouan Bernicot of Coral Gardeners. Originating from French Polynesia, Coral Gardeners is a global movement leading the way on restoring coral reefs and protecting marine ecosystems. As part of ACTAI’s core mission to support ocean conservation, we are honored to collaborate with Coral Gardeners.

The afternoon was a deep wellness reset, with meditation, saunas and ice baths at a beautiful wellness sanctuary overlooking the ocean. Some of our surfers headed out to take on the swell, before everyone came back together in the evening to dance the night away with world class DJs.

Day Three — ACTAI Bali 🇮🇩

Our morning yoga set the tone for another full day at ACTAI Bali, followed by conversations with leading voices exploring the latest developments across technology, AI and energy. Our afternoons were filled with sound healing sessions, chasing the perfect waves & connecting with one another.

As the sun began to set, we headed to the iconic Sunday’s Beach for an evening by the ocean and an exclusive dinner on the beach.

Our first full day of ACTAI Bali was the perfect balance of work and play. From morning yoga and tech talks with industry leaders, to afternoon surf sessions and sound healing.

Our community came together over dinner — sharing stories from the day, exchanging ideas, and connecting over a traditional balinese meal.

Life lately.

Epic ACTAI dinners. Learning to surf. Quick trip to San Francisco, playing tourist in a city I always love coming back to. Slow mornings, beach sunsets in Malibu, and remembering that some of the best seasons of life aren’t the ones you plan—they’re the ones that find you.

Grateful for this chapter. 🌊✈️🤍

IDB Week by @el_bid was one for the books ⚡️  Less than 24 hours before it started, I did not have a ticket but really wanted to attend as it was the first time their invite-only conference was held in Barbados, and all senior leadership.  I tried a few routes with no success, then did my morning prayers late (at like 3pm) and 90 min later - I got a call that there was a ticket for me, completely out of the blue. 😍Onwards! 🫡 
Was great to connect with so many of the best, @mamottley with the rockstar entrance (w. sage advice from Ms Odle-Baril @silver_fox57 on slide 4 🔊😄)

The official launch of @future.caribbean took place at IDB Invest Sustainability Week 2026, right here in St. Philip, Barbados, on the cliff tops where I was born 🌊

It was very special to share the stage here in Barbados with my @actaiglobal family, @mariathefig, @thepointsdai and @markcastleman, with Graham Macmillan, CEO of IDB Lab, moderating the conversation.

It was my favorite panel ever.
