@marinaleddyart favourite piece is photographed here.

At present her chosen medium is acrylic on paper and canvas with oil pastels and pen. She paints layer over layer using different colours and shapes, so that each time you look there is something new and unexpected to explore.

Another wonderful artist joining us this year is @marinaleddyart ❤️

Marina is an Irish artist based in Worthing. She has always been fascinated with the connection colour has with our thoughts, mood and feelings. On how seeing how a painting can evoke a reaction in our gut and soul in a way that can be difficult to describe. She looks to explore that in her work, and the journey of creating an artwork is an exploration, leaving her with completed artwork that constantly surprises.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to our 'Resonance' exhibition @colonnadehse last week. It really means a lot to know there's support for my work and every visit, conversation or show of interest was very much appreciated by us all.

I'm so happy to have been included in this exhibition with such a brilliant and talented group of women too, so thanks lots @clairelemmon @thirteenscorpios @shirleymayartist @marinaleddyart and @linfreed.

Of course, we couldn't have done any of it without the wonderful Richard, Joe and Paula @colonnadehse - thanks, you're the best!

Here's another look at my artwork on show in our joint exhibition 'Resonance' @colonnadehse until this Sunday 7th September or come along to our PV this evening from 6-8pm.

The paintings I've included are a mixture of work from my 'Glimmer' series, some older works and two new paintings made around the theme of freedom.

As well as these, there's a number of original cards, small, affordable original paintings on paper and giclee prints - all colourful explorations in mark and form.

Alongside my art you'll find the work of five other talented artists - @clairelemmon @thirteenscorpios @linfreed @shirleymayartist @marinaleddyart so there's something for everyone.

I'm here until 5pm today, we have our private view tomorrow 6-8pm or I'm back again on Sunday, so drop in if you can brave the stormy weather!

Our group exhibition 'RESONANCE' is on at the brilliant @colonnadehse from next Tuesday 2nd to Sunday 7th September, with our PV 6-8pm on Thursday 4 September and I think I'm almost ready.

These two new pieces, as yet unnamed, will be there along with some of my older paintings too.

This exhibition brings together six local artists, each of us exploring form, mark-making and colour in various ways, both abstract and figurative.

So, as well as my art, you'll also find the wonderful work of @clairelemmon @thirteenscorpios @shirleymayartist @marinaleddyart @linfreed and I can't wait to see you there!

“Yes but make sure you really see”

A painting from earlier this year that contains so many layers I lost count. Swipe to see the process of just a couple of them. Art for me is all about ways of seeing and my layers help me do just that; to try and make sense of what actually contains very little sense, a lot of the time.

I’m thrilled to say you will find my work - my ways of seeing - as part of the upcoming exhibition RESONANCE at @colonnadehse from 2-7th September alongside @michelepaints @clairelemmon @marinaleddyart @shirleymayartist and @linfreed

Private view 4th September. More details to follow.

BRB off to continue exploring ways of seeing… ✨
