This semester has been quite distinctive than the last. While facing more challenges that came my way, I have also faced many blessings and outstanding experiences. These events include:

1) Switching majors ➡️ More classes
2) Getting my first tattoo
3) Getting my first pair of glasses
4)Starting a Worship circle with some BYX pledges
5) Going to TMEA with some incredible people
6) Joining Basketball Band and played at the Rodeo
7) Composing 3 new pieces and getting 2 performed.
8) Joining MPE
9) Co-coaching a winning team for a BYX Philanthropy powerpuff tournament
10) Playing Guitar for TCU Sings
11) Watching the FW Symphony for the first time
12) Becoming a newly emerged leader within my college ministry
13) Playing on worship team at Encounter for the first time
14) Getting closer to more friends in a christ-centered way

With all the praises and struggles of this semester, two friends reminded me one day of Joshua 1:9 which reads "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go", & Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me". These verses portray the overall view of my journey during these past 5 months. I thank the Lord, along with my new good friends and colleagues for making this a truly unforgettable semester!
That being said, my 1st year of college is complete! Can't wait for sophomore year. See you guys next semester 🔥

Love,
Jojo 💙💙💙

(P.S.) Shout out to @snappedbytrang
for my headshots. More to see on my music account)

These past 5 months have been outstanding with amazing people, Godly experiences, and great fellowship at TCU for me! I started the semester out being a stranger in a new city and ended it by making some incredible memories and accomplishments including:
- Getting initiated into BYX
- Composing more pieces and getting 2 performed
- Making some amazing friends
- Joining marching band (again)
- Overcoming darkness & homesickness
- Playing in a few concerts
- Writing more poems and lyrics
- OVERALL: Shaping the man God wants me to be even more
God bless all the real ones out there for standing by my side, actually enjoying my company, listening to my deep thoughts, and making me feel like I belong, on and off-campus. Thank you all and Happy Holidays!

Love,
Jordan "Jojo" Simmons
