Sometimes, it’s easier to hide behind a mask… 🌙
A little piece of intimacy, vulnerability, and truth, captured so beautifully by the incredible Mari. 🤍

Pão Francês in 7 seconds ⁣
⁣
I have a Brazilian friend that told me that he misses these little buns. They're are called Pão Francês (French bread) but they are a 100% Brazilian 🇧🇷⁣
⁣
The authentic ones are made with yeast and a bread improver I have never heard of before they have a thin crispy crust and they are beautifully soft and pillowy. ⁣
⁣
I wasn't sure how to get them to develop a thin crispy crust - it's not supposed to be like a baguette crust. ⁣
⁣
I succeeded, to some extent, developing the overall shape and oven spring but the crust part is still pretty much a work in progress. ⁣
⁣
I have a couple of tweaks to try before sharing the method and recipe⁣
⁣
...and a couple more attempts before sharing with my Brazilian friends 🫣🤣⁣
