Week 5 • Therapeutic Modalities & Immobilization 🧊🔥

As we wrapped up week 5, we’re adding even more skills to our athletic training toolbox!

We practiced:
🧊 Ice Massage
❄️ Ice Bag Application
🌊 Hot & Cold Whirlpool
🔥 Thermal Pack Application
🦵 Knee Immobilization

We learned how different hot and cold modalities can be applied safely, along with techniques for properly immobilizing the knee. Each week continues to bring new skills, new challenges, and more opportunities to grow as future Athletic Trainers. 🩺

One week left until we finish up our first official semester as first year AT grad students! 💙🐾
