And just like that… my greatest love has graduated.

💜 CHS Class of 2026 💜

Four years of grit, growth, leadership, late nights, early mornings, and a shameful amount of Starbucks runs.

I’m overjoyed for my girl. She has shown up for herself every single day, staying true to who she is, working incredibly hard, and somehow managing to keep a sense of humor through it all. She’s ambitious without losing sight of what matters, and at just 17 years old, already understands the importance of taking care of herself- mind, body, and spirit.

Watching her become the young woman she is today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. And to think… there was a time when I would cry myself to work everyday, as I was terrified to bring her into this world, doubting I had what it took to mother this little being. Turns out, she made it pretty easy on me, teaching me the greatest lessons I’ll likely ever learn as a human, woman and mother.

From the Carlsbad Lancers to a future Boulder Buff, this next chapter is going to be a good one for my babe. I can’t wait to watch her spread her wings, chase her big dreams, make a few questionable college decisions, and continue becoming exactly who she’s meant to be.

Sissy, you’re an inspiration and although my heart breaks a little thinking of you leaving, I’m bursting with pride for the future you’re creating. Go shine bright, baby. 💫
