How the war led me to @worldpackers 🌏

When the war started, my home was exactly where the bombs hit. So I left .

I had known about Worldpackers for a while but never had the courage to try it solo.
But when I was forced to leave, I finally went for the premium plan and that’s how I found @kalavan_retreat_center 💗 especial thanks to the host who gave me the chance to find my place in the middle of chaos. 🏡🪁

Yes, it was hard at times but I found myself doing all the things I was good at: organizing, redecorating… and eventually learning woodworking with an insanely skilled and patient German MEISTER @homesickhonda 🤜🏻🥊 Ous Wanja ! ✨

Now I can say I’ve literally built furniture with my own hands 🪵💪

This lifestyle is unpredictable, full of growth, and honestly, something everyone should try at least once in life.🌀✨

🌏Sometimes I feel like we’re no longer
searching for the truth;
We’re just trying to prove that we’re right.

⚖️ And somehow , no matter who wins the argument, millions of innocent people end up paying the price.

Even when we don’t fully believe the stories we defend, we’re still pulled into a world shaped by manipulation, one that pushes us to choose sides instead of choosing humanity. 💔

After everything I’ve seen, I feel incredibly small…

Small in the face of so much suffering.

Sometimes I wonder if anything I do could ever be enough.

And yet…

My hope belongs to the next generation. 🌱

To every child, in every country, who still carries even the smallest light inside their soul.🤍

If I can help protect even a small part of that light, then that’s where my life finds its meaning🌅

Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love,
time is eternity🦊✨
