shout out to @runwchristlynch ‼️

The program that not only allowed me to meet some of my best friends, but teach me to run the race! Figuratively, physically and spiritually, learning to step into the uncomfortable and embrace it. We aren’t meant to live lives that are easy or complacent. For it can be as simple as Jesus loves you on the trail or meeting new people. Having the opportunity to serve alongside this team has been such a blessing! From only merely hearing about RWC to then attending, it is now what I look forward to every Saturday morning! I urge you to do something new or out of the ordinary for yourself. It’s not as scary as you think, and you have the #1 hype man next to you which is JESUS!

I don’t even know how to start this and I am very emotional writing it. This past July I should have died because of a drunk driver hitting me at 130-140mph. And while I try to always be joyful on here, if I’m being honest this past season was filled with tears, facing fears I never thought I’d have to, prayers that went unanswered, doctor appointments, and questions of if I’d ever be able to function properly again because of the effects this accident had on my brain. I was so scared. But God was so faithful. I had so many long talks with God. There’s a reason Jesus would heal ppl and then say is it easier to say get up and walk or your sins are forgiven? I learned so much in my pain. That even if I never was the same again, to be content in God forgiving me and saving me. Since hope is a gift from God, it cannot be lost, no matter what you go through.

This season taught me to live like tomorrow is not promised, to be easier on myself, and that it truly takes a village to do the Christian walk. I have become more dependent on friends than I ever have because of my weakness. I’ve learned to boast in God no matter if my body is functioning or not. I have A SAVIOR who promises to bring me into eternity with Him. How could I not rejoice?

But because of how bad my concussion was, I couldn’t celebrate my 21st in August.
I walked into this party completely surprised and shocked 7 months later.
Joel 2:25 — “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.”

This was more than a birthday to me- it was a celebration of the year I shouldn’t have gotten if Satan had won, with the people that stood beside me when I couldn’t get up. Their counsel, consistency, and care has shaped my ministry. If you want to run fast do it alone, but if you want to run far, do it together. My community at Liberty is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

The world may bruise what is beautiful, but it can’t stop what God has begun. Wherever this message finds you, I’m proud of you and praying you get through the things you don’t talk about too. God will never leave you in your weakness, but he will grow you through it.
