🤩 @sallyamyers wins are: staying consistent, getting up early, feeling stronger and gaining lean muscle mass. Her work life, organization skills and discipline have vastly improved. She loves the combination of strength training and barre for lower impact in her life.

🍾 Kelly’s 6 week challenge wins: Feeling stronger, gaining 1 on of muscle, BMR went up 8 calories, learning proper form for moves she thought she was doing properly before 😛 She also learned more about her protein intake and portions.

💃🏼Tiffany taught an @abba themed Booty burner Barre 🔥 class with some new awesome lady friends in our amazing community. Today was a good day 💗

Man, it’s been quite a journey. I’m so beyond blessed to still be doing what I love; whether it’s paying rent or not!!! (Money is the least important currency, you can fight me on this, lol). My relationship with dance has been allllll over the place over the years, but I genuinely feel like I’m in the right space mentally/emotionally to love dance the way I did as a kid. Here’s a collection of some moments from high school/early college. This was my favorite time as a dancer up until pretty recently. Dance has always been a therapist for me in a way so after taking 2 years off post graduating in Dance from @columbiachi, I finally feel home again in my body and in this vocabulary. DANCERS SPEAK ANOTHER LANGUAGE Y’ALL. .

Proud to live in a place where yes, dance is a thriving, money-making industry, but it’s also supported and celebrated in ways I have never experienced. I’m almost 25 and taking class in a way that I didn’t think I’d get the chance to. Life is wild guys. Follow your child-like intuition. It knows what you need. ✨✨✨✨ .

Thank you dance for always being present and patient with me. When I had nowhere else to turn, when I didn’t love you back, when I took a break, when I needed a community, when I needed to be physical, when I needed to see my work on other people, when words weren’t enough, when I needed a way to express the way I felt, dance was it. It’s still “it”. Happy #internationaldanceday 🖤

Reminiscing on this amazing experience. My senior piece meant a lot to me and I miss this group and the choreographic experience we shared. It was such a smooth sailing process because I knew I had the chillest and most incredible group of dancers around me! I haven’t been choreographing much lately but I’m excited to get back and creating again. I feel super inspired and I’m excited to see you where that inspiration takes me. But for now, enjoy some fun moments from my Senior Concert piece ‘Proprius’. I MISS YOU ALL MORE THAN YOU KNOW.
