That’s a wrap on Episode 1 of ‘The Residents’ web series!! This is the first project I had the pleasure of producing alongside an all Latino ensemble 🤘🏼

We filmed 26 pages in 3 days which included 5 locations. Thank you so much to our crew for the hard work you put into making that happen.

‘The Residents’ centers around a vinyl obsessed DJ and her fiercely loyal group of East LA friends spinning through life, blending identity, music, and rebellion as they turn every setback into their own beat.

A massive shoutout to @joxoriginals our BTS photographer for the cast and crew photos. Book her if you want someone professional, genuine, and easygoing. She took the time to give many of our background actors a mini photoshoot on set. BTS photos to come.

So many of our background actors had a great time, want to work with us again, and made authentic connections with others on set which I loved to see.

For the actors who didn’t get a chance to work with us this time around , DM me so I can add you to our roster of actors for future projects.

Thank you all so much for wanting to be part of this. The lack of representation and misrepresentation of Latinos in film, TV, and media needs to change. That’s something I’m passionate about. We have to lift each other up. So having the opportunity to act, produce, and write in ‘The Residents’ series which puts us front and center means a lot to me.

‘Please Don’t Die’
My first short film/spec music video is out now! I had such a fun time shooting this around the city with the small crew! It was my first time shooting on 16mm film! I definitely loved it, and learned a lot throughout the process! Here’s some stills from the short film/music video, and some BTS from it!

Please consider checking it out! It’s a short one(3 mins).4k viewing available through youtube/vimeo on desktop. Link in my bio!

Thanks so much to the entire team for making it thru, and making the experience so exciting!😘
