Region 3 championships is a wrap!
☀️🌴

Giovanni put in an honest effort in the I2, showing so much improvement! I am excited to continue working on this level am so appreciative to his wonderful owner Brooke Adams for trusting me with him 🐴🤎

Sarah Forster brought both of her beautiful boys and had a great weekend! Caillou had a great PSG and 4th level test showing so much promise for the FEI. Sarah and he placed 6th in the 4th level championship ⭐️ Nico rocked his very first regionals in huge classes placing 6th in 2nd level and reserve champion in First level!

Marissa and Cariño held their own in both the 2nd and 3rd level championships! They showed one of their very best 3rd level tests! 🩶 I am excited to continue working with them and see the development for next year ☀️They also placed 4th in a very large class in the AA dressage equitation!

Thank you to the show organizers and volunteers for putting together another great championships!
And a big thank you to my other half Mike Robbins for constantly supporting and chauffeuring and being a major part of the team both at home and away. 🩷
And to these ladies for trusting me and working so hard. It is a pleasure to be part of your ride!

Always so happy to see all the senior dressage horses happily going down center line! Congrats to the 2025 Golden Oldie award, Carino, owned and ridden by Marissa Collins.

Congratulations to Carino, the winner of this year's South Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Association (SCDCTA) Golden Oldie award, sponsored by yours truly. This award is meant to recognize the way senior horses contribute to the sport and art of dressage.

Carino is a 21-year-old Iberian Warmblood, ridden at Second and Fourth levels by his owner, Marissa Collins. He topped the roster of Golden Oldie applications with a final score (weighted average plus his age) of 86.301. Congrats to Carino and thanks to everyone who submitted scores for this award, which is very dear to my heart.

Some more shots of the cutest pair from this weekend. It felt really great to be back in Aiken. A piece of my heart is definitely still there, but thankfully it’s only a few hours away from my home 💜
