1 year since we opened the doors to our Míra Matcha brick & mortar❤️🍵 Time really does fly when you’re having fun🥹

When I was going through photos over the past 365 days it became even more clear to me that this has never even really been about the matcha, it’s about the people. So many beautiful souls have come through these doors and touched us in so many ways, we just happen to have a little green drink to do so over🍵 Thank you for sharing celebratory moments with us, hard moments, creative moments, and everything in between. You all make Míra what it is today🤍

To our Míra team - on top of the beautiful crazy year this has been full of exciting events and curveballs, y’all even stuck through it while I’ve had the hardest 9 months of my life physically growing our newest Matcharista👶🏻 We are so so so grateful for each of you and we are so proud of how you rep Míra and foster all the relationships you all have built with our guests over the past year🙏

And to my Husband, business partner, soon to be Father to our son, handyman, Product Developer, motivator, website builder, positivity reinforcer, the man who does so much behind the scenes that keeps this small business going - Alvaro, thank you for all you do, none of this would exist without you holding my hand and taking the leap into this crazy venture with me in 2023, I love you❤️

While we would have loved to host an Anniversary Party, I could go into labor at any moment😂 So we’re thinking February, in line to the actual anniversary of the Míra Matcha trailer opening🤍

WE LOVE TOU SAN ANTONIO! HAVE AN INCREDIBLE SUNDAY AND THANK YOU FOR 1 YEAR OF MÍRA☀️🍵🥹

Thank you to everyone who has checked on us at the storefront, Pearl, in passing and through calls, texts and DM’s over the past few months🥹❤️

Embarking on this pregnancy journey while running a small business has not been an easy feat, but we are so grateful to the Míra Matcha community, our team, our friends and our family for making this season so memorable🙏

We are officially in the home stretch! So if you haven’t seen me around lately, know how much I miss everyone! It’s been a struggle lately to do much of anything physically and this pregnancy brain fog is something I’ve never experienced anything like! So thank you to our incredible Míra team for stepping up, stepping in, and telling me to chill when I attempt to pick up heavy things or finding me staring blankly at a box because I forgot what I was doing😂🫶

We get to welcome this little boy into a life we couldn’t have dreamed of when we started with our little 6-foot foldable table, so thank you for believing in us and growing along with us❤️🍵🙏 We can’t wait for baby boy to be here and for him to grow up in our little business surrounded by love, support and lots of matcha🍵

Love and blessings,

Alvaro, Marissa, & Camilo💙

We just can’t get enough🍵 Thank you to our wholesale partners at @lonemancoffee for inviting us up to ATX to pop up🫶 We had so much fun hanging out, indulging in some of their delicious coffee, trying some local spots and changing up the scenery on this gorgeous Sunday!

And thank you to everyone to came out to show us some love, we even spotted some Míra Merch in the wild and some previous SATX residents🥹❤️ We are so grateful!

It was on our vision board to pop up outside of SA in 2026 and we made it happen! Even at 8 months pregnant 😂 We’ll see you next time Austin!🍵🙏

What’s a Kama you ask? It’s a heavy iron pot used for heating water during the traditional Japanese tea ceremony🍵🫖

And I was DETERMINED to find an authentic antique to bring back to San Antonio to share with everyone who visits Míra♥️

Next time you’re in the store take a look! It traveled thousands of miles to be here☺️

TEXAS MATCHA SUMMER 🍵🌞

I've had w̶a̶y̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶ ̶m̶u̶c̶h̶ a lot of matcha around San Antonio, so narrowing this down to 8 wasn't easy.

This isn't a list about the "best matcha of San Antonio" (I pinned a separate post on that). This is about creative, refreshing matcha offerings, drinks I'd happily grab again under the Texas heat. From fruity specials to classic favorites, there's something here for every kind of matcha drinker.

Which one are you trying first? 🍵👇

Save this list for your next matcha date, and send it to that matcha-obsessed friend!

It was really bright out today and it had us reminiscing on Summer of 2025 - why? Because it’s cheesy, but when the temperature is just right and the sun hits at the perfect angle I can picture standing at our little matcha trailer telling the team “We have news” 🗞️🍵☀️

Summer ‘25 was a big beautiful blur and we wanted to share some images from the archives during the build out of our brick & mortar🤍 Thank you to everyone who’s followed the journey, stopped by to say hello and supported us in any way - we are so so grateful🙏
