Meet this week’s Member Spotlight, ✨Marissa Johnson✨, a junior public relations major.

Outside of Girls Club, Marissa serves as media co-chair for @bawse_ut and is a new member (Tap) for @txorangejackets . She also works as a creative intern for Texas Athletics.

After graduation, Marissa plans to work in communications for a university athletic department or pursue a career in public relations within the entertainment industry, focusing on film or television.

“Try everything! Learn multiple skills to make yourself stand out and be patient. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Be nice to everyone and be open to learning from others,” Marissa advises.

Congratulations, Marissa! We’re proud to have you in Girls Club and excited to see you continue to succeed.🫶
