Oak Island, NC was exactly what my heart needed this Memorial Day weekend 🌊🇺🇸 Spending time with my boyfriend, watching sunsets, being with my girls, making memories, and slowing down for a little while reminded me how special the simple moments really are !

I am so proud to say I’ve officially graduated from nursing school! These past couple years have been my biggest challenge yet, but with the support of my family and friends, lots of hours of hard work, and trusting in God I pushed through! I am so excited to follow this dream God placed in my heart, and I’m so blessed to start my career as a Mother Baby nurse! 🩷🧸💙

The 16-4s played in the Centerline Challenge on Saturday taking 3rd in the gold bracket! They finished 2nd in their pool going 3-3. In bracket play they beat NEK Storm (26-24, 21-25, 15-11) to advance! In the next round, they played Lady Ace and played hard, but lost (25-23, 25-14). Overall, the day was competitive and full of learning moments. As Coach shared, “it wasn’t what we wanted, the results, but the girls had lots of growth and realized a lot yesterday.“

Mar and Jayden are soaking up a few sweet days together after being apart for 3 months. Long nights were spent counting down the days, short phone calls, letters, and every little photo that kept them close. Jayden will be leaving again sadly for more training. But their story is one of strength, patience, and unconditional love. Every moment apart has only deepened their love for one another.

I met Mar in college, and she quickly became one of my closest friends. Watching her go through these harder times with such positivity and loyalty has been one of the most inspiring things. I cry when she cries and feel everything she feels. These two have a love that goes the distance, literally and emotionally, and I feel so lucky to be the one to take their pictures! 🤍🎞️📷🇺🇸
